There a number of woman in this biz who need some chat time before the fun begins to relax and feel comfortable with you. I believe most women will not have a problem with this however.

The key here is to discuss this with her beforehand, let her know you intend to pay for the full hour in any case, and have your refs and everything else she needs to verify you in your initial contact.

This will tell the girl you are straight up, not a time waster and not looking to negotiate down a one hour session just because you will only see her for 1/2 or 3/4 of the time you paid for.

Hi all.  I had a question:

The nature of my work and personal life is such that most times I can see a provider it will be for a relatively short amount of time--30 or 45 minutes.  (Personally, it kind of bums me out that I can't relax and take my time to really get to know the lady for a while--most of the time.  But it is what it is.)  That said, asking for (or only sticking around for) 30-45 minutes feels almost... insulting or disrespectful to the provider, as if I think they're only good for an impersonal quickie (especially a VIP/high-end provider).   I see most providers as what they are--professionals, who deserve the same respect as any other working professional.  But my own time constraints might make it seem like I feel otherwise

Am I over thinking this?  Ladies--do/would you find brief visits (which require getting right down to business pretty quickly) insulting?

Thanks all

They are not without their concerns for safety, but if you know of a long standing establishment that is convenient to you, half hours are more a matter of course there than anything else.

Well Im still a newbie but I can relate a story from one of the providers I like to see.  She had mentioned a time where a client only wanted 30 minutes.  I believe she had previously agreed but the client pretty much met her, did his thing with her, then left.  In short... She sort of felt "used".  In a way I thought it was strange becsuse isn't that what the agreement was... Pre-arranged pay for play? But perhaps each provider is different.  I think in a way the provider also wants to "connect" with the client besides just "wham bam thank you mam".  This particular provider truly enjoys what she does... She enjoys a variety of sexual experiences and ofcourse the money was a big attraction into the business.

My take is... Providers want to be treated decently too, not just another "body".  Or at least feel that their service was appreciated.  Well perhaps that was this case.  So I can't generalize for all providers, just what I was told by one provider.  Oddly enough she offers 30 minute appts.

I think if you communicate your intentions well enough and she is comfortable it may work.  But I would not assume that's always the case.

I'll let others with more experience add their observations.  I'm just relaying what I was told by one provider.

Thanks everyone.  To clarify:  I'm not asking about the etiquette of a shorter visit to save a few dollars.  I will (and have) paid for a full hour even though I only used 30 or so minutes.  (I think this particular provider even offered half-hour rates, but I just paid for a full hour.)  What I was hoping to make sure is that a shorter appointment (money aside) didn't make a provider feel like a streetwalker.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Some ladies have expressed some hurt when the client, without a word, immediately jumps up and splits after he cums, so don't do that.
