It's been a long time since I've been an active member of the TER community, but recently something happened to me that I think any active hobbyist would be interested to know about...
garrett1142 is not just my TER alias, but also the first half of my email address before the @. My girlfriend randomly decided to Google garrett1142 and the 4 results she found were all links to TER reviews I'd written in the past.
It’s needless to say that "What is The Erotic Review???" is a difficult question to answer.
So men – be aware of this possible consequence and give much consideration to your alias before posting reviews. Hobby safely!

Damm, don't you hate it when that happens. But really, how dumb to use your legit email addy as your TER handle, particularly when it's so distinctive. Perhaps you subconsciously wanted to get caught.

A while ago I decided that my user name was too close to my real name. So I changed it, which is not that hard to do. Now some of the younger people think my name is related to a band called Korn or Corn.
New (and surely satisfied) gf, etc...

I admit that I am/was satisfied, but my Garrett had me under false pretenses. I won't be so quick to trust. I can't trust. I don't want you to ever call him "G" or wish him well. I wish him well. I call him clever nicknames. That is my job.
