Rescheduling.

Well at least you had the courtesy of letting this Provider know you could not keep yout apointment. As long as you don't keep setting an appointment and then rescheduling you should be fine. I always keep my appointed session time. Never cancelled or rescheduled with my current Provider. No way in Hell am I going to miss out on her.

I have a really dumb question, as I have never actually done this before. Is it frowned upon to reschedule an appointment to another day? Ive never tried to cancel an appointment, or reschedule as I am usually very good at keeping them, but this time I just cant make it on the day I had originally set. I E mailed her 48 hours in advance asking if I could move the appointment a few days out, keeping the same time and session time as before, so it should be fine, but I worry providers will get peeved when you mess with set appointments LOL. Hopefully she will be okay with it...I have wanted to meet her for so long!!

My current Provider has never ever cancelled out on seeing me. She knows when I call her I'm going to show up. Just to make sure I don't have any parking problems and to get there faster, I ride my Honda Ruckus to her place. Of course weather permitting.

than being a NCNS. If you can't make it you can't make it, just try to not make it a habit. Good communication is a key part of having a good time but you never know how she will react. She may be fine with it but don't be surprised if she doesn't react well or doesn't want to reschedule because there are guys who do that just to mess with a provider.

next Saturday and we each have cancelled and rescheduled 4 times so far over the last 2 months! Stuff happens and most providers know and accept that. Just the fact that you are courteous enough to let her know goes a long way. You should be fine.

As you have done, give her as much notice as possible.  A quality provider will understand, afterall, it can happen to them too.  Agree with others, just don't make it a habit either with her or any other provider, the word will get around the provider world, and it will not bode well for you.  While she may be a little miffed, with enough notice of the desired cancellation, she has the opportunity to fill the time with another client.  It's the short notice bailouts or simple NCNS that gets under her skin.

I appreciate the comments and the help I get from this community. She E mailed me today and the push is okay with her.

Is more than enough notice in my opinion. I wouldn't be upset if a gentleman had to reschedule on me if he gave me enough notice (more than 24 hours).
