I searched to see if there was a thread on this in the past year, and I couldn't find one.

I'm wondering why TER doesn't update rates as they receive more and more current reviews from the ladies?  It's very frustrating to do a search on rates, and you see one that is outdated by $100 or more.

It's a disservice to the girl who has to deal with clients who get angry, and it's a waste of time for the hobbyist as well.

Just wonderin'....

... but not from a review.  Rates can be updated by filing a Problem Report on the provider's profile and providing a link to the latest rates, eg provider's web site rates page or P411 profile.  I've found the latter works especially well because it shows a "last logged in" date, which can indicate the provider at least looked at her rates recently.  And you get 2 VIP days for your trouble. :)

I assume a provider can also request that her rate info be updated, but I don't have direct experience with that of course.

I couldn't find a recent thread on this. My review profile has my UK rates on it, but my US rates (which are on my site) are substantially higher due to the cost of touring. Do TER have an option to include multiple rates?

I only know a partial answer. You can go to your Profile page and click "Report a Problem" (top right).  Enter info to correct any errors on your Profile. You can include an updated rate, too.
.
Many Profiles have multiple rates, but I usually notice variables such as time (escort 1h $; escort 2h $$), services (escort 1h $; escort with anal 1h $$) and so on. I don't remember seeing multiples for geography (escort 1h local $; escort 1h touring $$) or even city-level detail (... $ London; $$ Boston; $$ New York).
.
I think I have seen incall/outcall rates on Profiles, but I'm not sure: escort 1h incall $; escort 1h outcall $$.
.
Seems to me that it should be possible, within limits (a few rates, not dozens!). Let us know how it goes!

yeah, I can only replace my rate not have multiple. It's very annoying as many providers vary rates from their home city as it costs a bomb to be on tour!

Although, I'd like to see us be able to update a few things on our profiles without submitting a problem report (which obviously isn't updated instantly). It seems like it would be simpler if we could update aspects that are not subject to major dispute or interpretation (our prices, hair length/color, etc).

The girl should have her rates clearly posted in her ads and on her website. I don't take the rates on Ter as verbatim but just a general guide.

to make sure all information is correct, including rates

I don't think TER has the resources to do it, but would you prefer a huge interconnection of every post, comment, tweet, false report, true report, provider web pages, P411, and so on? Should we all start wearing smart devices to link our activities to a giant data center controlled by ?? whom??

TER Profiles are updated, a bit slowly sometimes, but the Profiles are not intended to be the sole and highest order of information. See the most recent ads or ask (email, PM) for directions to the most recent info.

The same goes for other Profile info: hair, age [should TER require Providers to submit Certified copies of their birth certs so the Profiles can auto-update without human intervention? Eh .... no.] and so on.

TER could make some tweaks to make it easier to update and correct some data in the Profiles. Based on other S&P posts, I think TER is probably considering making MAJOR changes in the database structure itself (adding new fields, new ways of specifying info [yes/no versus pick one versus check all that apply, etc.).

Profiles are surely a good guide. Updating could be improved. But I don't want to see linking and automated stuff go too far.

I had a hobbyist get really weird with me about this just today, cancelling an appointment questing why my profile rate was ($50) different from my current ads and website.   I provided in a small town, occasionally traveling with just a few reviews here when I explained it was just outdated and I couldn't change it.... he got crappy.  :(

If he is on TER, I'd expect him to be MORE aware of Profile data ... compared to the guy who sees two different non-TER ads (website plus slixa or bp) and doesn't know how hard it can be keep everything updated.  Maybe your canceller doesn't read the Boards.

If your contact with him included email, send him a (polite) link to this thread!

...the button that says "Report a Problem". It's the fourth one from left to right. Those buttons are just below your provider name on your profile. When you click that button you'll get a Problem Report window. Explain to TER what needs to be changed. Then click submit. You do have some control over what's on your profile. Be sure to read the information in the Problem Report window.
