It probably had nothing to do with being "snobby/snobby."

I'm sure it doesn't feel good to be told "no." But keep in mind, M&G hosts screen their guests exactly the same way providers screen customers.  This is for the protection of all guests.  You don't need 200 reviews, but you do need more than two.  When you get up to 10 or so, and some of them are reviewers known to the hosts, you stand a better chance of snagging an invite.

I just discovered tonight for the first time that there are meet and greets in some cities. Las Vegas seems to have them (which is near me) and I have read in a review tonight at one of my local providers has met the reviewer there before they ever spent time together.

what is a meet and greet like? is there a way to find out who is going when one is being set up?

Under the general boards drop Down. Think of a cocktail party. Hobbyists and escorts host them

How often they occur in your area is anyone's guess.   It just depends on who is willing to take the time and effort to set one up.  Basically, all it is, is a cocktail party for providers and potential clients.  NO sexual activities take place there.  You just have a few drinks, sample whatever food is available, and mingle.  Talk to the ladies in attendance and see if any of them attract you.  You can set a date for the future, or perhaps even after the party is over.

The Meet & Greet board is the best place to learn about them.  Oftentimes, the host(s) will mention on their local regional board that you should check the MnG board for information.  You will be screened by them in order to get an invite, so be prepared for that, just like you are screened by providers.  Generally, the guys pay to attend and the ladies are free.

Yes, there are always rules about this.  And, yes, many M&Gs don't permit sex for obvious reasons. But I've been to some where sex does occur, generally in the bathroom.  I've also been to one where there was an orgy room, though this is rare.

Never heard of a MnG having an orgy room though.  No surprise about bathroom sex.  Although, in the hobby, very little surprises me anymore.

There were some agency girls in a room with a hot tub, plus another provider.  For $20 you could go in and watch, for another $40 you could play with the girls.  Great bargain, but I've never seen another one like that.
At one M&G in NY a guy took one of the women into a bathroom and they fucked.  At another, there was a retired provider I and a friend were talking with.  She spontaneously invited him into the bathroom for a BBBJ, just for old time's sake.
At another party the guest of honor was moving out of town.  I told her I had to go.  She didn't want me to leave so she unzipped my fly, loosened my belt and started sucking my cock in front of several other people. That was rather fun!

the fact that there is a lot of work involved.  All guests are screened for safety reasons.

Yes, a cocktail party with like-minded adults in attendance.  Biggest advantage is you get to meet and mingle with the ladies to get a feel (no pun intended) of their personalities as well as see them in person without photoshop or Aldo involvement.  I have met some great ladies at  M & G's which have led to great times afterwards whether it be that night or weeks or months after.

To me it sounds cool.  I'd like to attend one, I think!  However, the feeling I get when I have approached attending one near me is a cold shoulder because I don't have 200 reviews (actually 2)...

I don't like the snubby/snobby feeling of that one...(DC)

Maybe they're just busy with the screening and work of it

but sadly, both of her reviewers are first time reviewers with no credibility either.

As Nicky said, screening is for the protection of all involved and quite frankly at the moment she would not pass my screening if I were the host. Nothing to be discouraged about, there will be a LOT more M&G's, my advice is that she just keep on keeping on, both the reviews and the credibility that comes with them will come in time.
