Hey Newbies, Why All The NCNS?

Why do these Newbies make an appointment and then not show up? They don't even call to say they have to cancel. The Provider I'm seeing always tells me stories of New Clients making appointments and then just not showing up. If you make an appointment then make sure you can show up at that time. Don't make an appointment and then not show up. At least call her to let her know you can't make the appointment. These Providers set aside the time you want to see them. A NCNS is wasting their time when they can see someone else. When I make an appontment with a Provider I always make sure my whole day is clear and I have that time to see her. Because if she has Awesome Reviews there's no way in Hell I'm going to mess up not seeing her.

So I had set up an appointment in my area a few days ago for the first time ever. I thought I had done my research and was feeling confident in the provider  that I chose. I called her to set the appointment up and it seemed she seemed legit. She told me she would text me her address (a not so appealing house where she lived) and a few minutes later I received the text. A half an hour before we were originally supposed to meet she texted me and said that some family issues had come up and she was going to have to cancel. About 20 minutes and a few text messages later she told me that she did not have to go now I could come over as soon as I wanted. I left my house and within a half an hour I was there. At first, I was skeptical and I drove passed her place just to scope things out and see if there was anything suspicious. I made a pretty big circle around the neighborhood and called her to let her know I was close ( I said I would be there in less then 5). She texted me and said to pull in the driveway to the back and she would meet me at the back door. I turned back onto her street and as I was starting to slow down to turn into the driveway, I looked to my right but to see a police officer sitting in his car at a stop sign. I immediately let off my brakes and drove on by, did not text or call back. She texted me twice, first saying that she guessed  I wasn't going to show and then again saying that I should have let her known that I had to cancel the appointment in a pissed off tone. The thing I don't understand is she had 50+ reviews and they all gave details about going to the back door. Even some of the reviewers were whitelisted. Where did I go wrong?

ou're driving to a provider's private residence.  You scope out her neighborhood & see a cop at a stop sign.  You then bail without letting her know.  Once you cleared her neighborhood, you should've sent her a text explaining what happened.  My guess is the neighbors have been complaining about this provider turning tricks in the neighborhood.  That explains the police presence.

I once encountered a similar situation--cops turned up at a provider's hotel just as I got there.  I turned around & parked at a nearby coffee shop.  I then called her & explained what was going on.  I booked a room at a hotel across the street from her, and she walked over & we had the session.  You're a newbie, but you need to avoid panic every time you see a cop.  You'll make a smarter play next time.  --z

Its last minute jitters with a healthy dose of paranoia.  Being nervous or overly excited can make you do stupid things.

That is most likely true for a Newbie. But I've been at this Hobby for a long time. Sure I still get the "Overly Excited" feeling when I meet a Provider for the first time. But I always read her reviews if she has any before I call her. If something isn't right or she seems a bit messed up, I walk out.

However, in your case, you should have left the area, stopped somewhere to call or text her, and told her what happened.  She might be able to see the cop and let you know whether he is gone or not.  Besides, just because the cop was sitting at a stop sign does not mean he was watching her.  Cops have to obey traffic laws too if they are just on routing patrol.  Unless there are lots complaints about a provider using her home as an incall, LEO is unlikely to stake out one provider just to bust her and one john.  It's not cost effective.
