I couldn't agree with you more! I can't believe what some people are willing to pay for mediocre performance. I expect to pay more for the top performers but refuse to even try to arrange a meeting with someone who has had consistant mediocre reviews. That's why I not only look for good performance on the local level but also out-of-town talent visiting. If we all were more choosy in who we did business with, the costs would be competitive

Demand Is Strong

Hi.  Remember that this board is just a tiny percentage of the actually market.

Each day 1000s. Yes 1000s of men in this area are looking for dates, trying to set up appointments, and just flipping through ads.  Sadly, the posters on this board, although they may be the most loyal customers and great guys, are just one of many options.

An established provider has no shortage of calls or e-mails each day.  Try 20 - 60 depending on the weather.  If it pays to offer a lower rate, rates will come down. But as long as demand remains strong and supply limited, the guys keep coming.  

This board and others is great for posting a special - when you really want to crank in the business or if you want to stay under the radar.  But demand is so strong now - it is INCREDIBLE.

I have traveled all states, parts of Canada, Caribbean, Europe,and Asia.  IMHO Minnesota ranks at the very top of most expensive places to "hobby", but not difficult to find a good provider.  There are cities where its very difficult to find a good provider for the same if not more $$$.  Chicago for one.  However, there are places where its easy to find a good provider but will also cost more - New York, LA, San Fran, etc.  There are lots of cities where it will cost a lost less and its easy to find a very good provider - Atlanta, Dallas, anywhere in NC, and I could go on and on.  

However its very easy to find a very inexpensive and VERY good provider in other parts of the world - UK, Netherlands (of course), etc.  

I think its like others have said - suppy and demand.  The supply is directly related to the risks for the provider.  The less LE oppression, the better availability, especially with the younger talent.  

For example, there is a general tolerance of providers that work out of massage parlors as well as escorts throughout the UK.  I have had the good fortune of visiting some of the nicest massage parlors in the UK, which are virtually run like brothels, where you can stop in, have a beer, pick from a dozen beauties of all types, and obtain full service without even asking for it, for less than $120 - 150.  

The answer is decriminalization.  Otherwise get use to living the fantasy.
