I don't think it will happen because TER would have to spend a bunch of money on disk storage for images, images taking up much more space than plain text and emoticons. They would also have to spend money to increase their bandwidth. Loading a post or Profile doesn't take much out of TER's hardware or digital pipeline but now add images to the downloads and their ISP would want them to pay for more bandwidth and their routers would start to choke, cough, gag and start sending "Request timed out" "Could not load page" errors.  

Pro: There would be some sort of permanent (as long as TER archived the images) pictorial record of Providers' appearance that you could fall back on if someone tries the old name change. "New Mary TER ID ### is the same as Old Susan TER ID ##."  

Pro: A quick peak to see if someone is who we think it is and to then continue or not. "Is this the Mary I met when she toured here 2 years ago? Let's see ..."  Heck ... a quick peak for whatever reason you have.

Pro: On the spot matching of "real (really her) pics" Yes or No to a real (an actual image) pic.  

Con: A small, low resolution pic might be worthless or even a PITA to many viewers. If TER would make disk space available for hi-res images of a certain minimum size, maybe it wouldn't be worthless.  

Maybe I'm wrong about TER not making a big leap to add storage and bandwidth. It won't be the first time I've been wrong.  

Just remeber: All these pictures that you see on the boards are NOT stored on TER computers. They are stored on Imagecoast and other websites with the capacity to handle images. My thumbnail (I photoshopped out my thumb tattoos for personal reasons to avoid being recognized)
