This being the case, you should be sure not to reveal your TER handle, or ...

that you even know what TER is when you introduce yourself to providers lest they take offense at you not writing a review for them.

So gals apparently get pretty worked up over that.

I hope in time however you do decide to write reviews.  Think of it as a karma thing, but do what you think is best.

I have no interest in writing reviews. Would writing a review, be a necessity of participation?

you will have to pay for VIP membership in order to read the entire review of someone you want to see.

Whereas a review gets you two weeks.  And it's not so easy successfully reporting a problem and getting credit because so many people do that.

I look back thinking,  I should have written a review of her or at least written a note somewhere so that I can remember the details.

Might have something to do with being drunk but I can't recall details after a while so having a review helps.

On the other hand I'm too damn lazy to get around to writing one.
It takes at least an hour of my time.

I only write alias reviews tho.

While this is a review site, the decision to write reviews or not is a personal choice. Some people are less likely to help if you ask for information about a provider if you have no reviews, thinking you lack credibility. Other people feel you can avoid the problems that can come if a provider doesn't like the review you wrote of her services. What it comes down to is write them if you want to or skip the whole thing.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to have a VIP membership and one benefit of writing reviews is the free VIP days you get for your trouble. That being said, buying VIP doesn't cost that much either.

I've managed to do allright for myself, despite not having a single review to my credit.

Hahajaha, good to see this has worked successfully for other men.

I've been here for over ten years, I most likely have over 25,000 posts, I moderated several boards here, and I've even hosted a couple of M&G, not to mention having attended several hosted by others, and I don't have even one single review to my credit.

What amazes me is the number of experienced mongers here with years of experiences and dozens of reviews that seem to have problems more suited to newbies, guys routinely getting stood up, having problems with screening, can't seem to get hookers to returns calls/emails. the list goes on and on. I just don't see what is so hard about hiring a hooker, enjoying yourself, having her enjoy herself (or at least not hate her time with you) and then repeating the process whenever the urge suits you. This "hobby" really isn't as hard as some people try to make it out to be.

I really didn't want to share all of the juicy bits but I decided if I had a really good (or really bad) experience with a provider I should share it with anyone who wants to read it. Turns out that although no provider has outright asked me to write a review for her nor have any given me any grief about not writing one, some providers offer discounts or other perks for reviews. So it is something to consider.

if I'm asked certain types of questions via PM, I'll only provide info if the guy has reviews of established ladies.
I'm not necessarily going to give info to a guy just because he has VIP.
If he has lots of reviews of well-reviewed ladies, then I feel more comfortable

Aside from my own desire to share my experiences with this community,  the reviews I write let the ladies know something about me, what kind of guy I am, what I like.  I always recommend that they read a couple of my reviews when I introduce myself via email.  Some of them actually do it, and several have told me it made them feel more positive and at ease about meeting me.

When a gent books with me, I go and read his lowest and highest reviews to make sure I do everything he likes and not make the same mistakes as lower scored providers he's seen. Also, because I don't talk about services, it's nice to know ahead of time if he likes buttsex, and that shows in his reviews.

So you may want to consider writing reviews just for that, highlighting all your likes and dislikes of the encounter.

This might make me look bad, but I am much more likely to reply to a TER gent with reviews faster than someone who doesn't mention if he writes reviews or not. If those two same gents request an appointment for the same time, you already know who I give priority to. Reviews help me obtain more clients than anything I've tried.

IMHO A client who reviews sets himself apart from the rest, unlike a lurker, he's a giver in this hobby, and his participation is what makes this board what it is, for that he is recognized in my schedule.
Reviews allow the men to pretty see what is offered and the ladies can read pretty much see what is expected. Like Valentine, I check out a client by reading the reviews. If I see a whole lot of focus on a gfe experience with lots of dfk in the reviews he has written I kindly respond letting him know I'm definitely not a gfe and dfk is not on the menu so, in case he hasn't read my reviews, he can make an informed choice on whether or not to go ahead and continue to schedule with me. The LAST thing I want is for a client to be unhappy with me. If that means he chooses a different provider than me to get what will make him happy I want him to do just that.
To the original poster of this thread, reviews are priceless and very useful tools to both the men and the ladies. Read and write reviews. Time and money are too precious to waste, reading and writing reviews will save you both.
Experience, Write, Repeat, thats what its all about.

"You only live once, but once is enough if you do it right the first time"

The greatest compliment a client can give me is a positive review.  By far, its a #1 way to say "thank you for a great time"

A bottle of liquor, a thoughtful gift or tip$ I always greatly appreciate, and yes, I LOVE all of them.

But to me the one "thank you for a great time" I prefer most is written, not bought.
