Hi Sam. A big difference for me between a 9 and 10 is the connection with the provider. Not as much the activities (covered vs not etc) but was it really an experience where I really forgot it was a service- even for a moment. TER restricts what we can rate based on activities and services offered- I do not agree with that. It's more about the fantasy for me and the ability to really just have fun together. I'm sure others will disagree but that's my view.

I agree with all the above. there is a certain level of skill necessary but it's more about the feeling that she is into it, (if it's real or perceived). Passion is huge. To think that a provider is enjoying you as you enjoy her, is awesome; To sense that she is 'into' the experience, loving what she is doing. It can be a naughty smile or a wink that sets the tone. Certainly eye contact is valuable. Beyond that it's energy/enthusiasm, that's sexy with any body type. Any provider can raise her rate 25 to 50% if she's got that. I would have to say that it is much the same. I enjoy all different types of men but a great date is one where the gentleman is easy going, friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy the experience. There is that elusive "chemistry" that happens sometimes and that is great but my main goal is to make a gentleman leave happy and satisfied. I enjoy myself most when I feel that the gentleman is enjoying me. To that end, I like a gentleman who is not afraid to ask for what he wants and tells me what he likes. The difference between a 9 and a 10 is very slight to my mind. If you can make a guy forget it is a session you have succeeded big time. I think a 10 has more to do with the guy's experience with others than with the particular provider being reviewed.
I see a gal who has a rate of $240, she is by far better than ladies I have seen at $500, just because we have a connection, a big hug upon arrival, she excuses herself for a moment and then comes out naked,

I think most of us are expressing the importance of the connection vs specific services offered or specific physical attributes. Possibly, there is a range of what you like or don't like but within that, the elusive factor is the connection. Even though we all know this is a service, we still want the connection.

For me it is how compatible we are (e.g. does she like the same things in bed that I do). It's also about our connection, which is hard to fake. Have spent my time w/ ladies that Ohh & Ahh but only as part of the show. The ladies I rate the highest are the ones that really seem to get off on what we're doing together.
In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.
Note the last sentence. Unless someone else (another provider or another guy) are involved, a provider needs to do DFK, BBBJ, and Greek to get a 10. At least, according to the board rules.

This leads us back to where (I think) this started. Tara Butler has awesome reviews, 9/10's for looks and gets all 7's for performance. Because of the rules, but who are we to say. This website is great for all concerned, a genuine help to our endeavors, but possibly she had performance 10's, minus bb, -kissing, -anal... there's your 7.

I use to think it was menu such as greek or rimming, etc. Now as I get older I find that when she portrays the GFE to the max and is caring and carrys on a good conversation. I guess when the provider can actually make me feel like the only man in the world at that time.
