is not a very appropriate metric. Safety certainly is though.

I am new to all of this and am in contact with a girl I would like to meet. Being a student, she asked for a picture of my transcript, id, and my face. Is this normal practice? I want this to be as legal and safe as possible

Since you have no references, you need to join one or more of the verification sites, Date-Check, Preferred411, or RoomService2000.  It's better to give your info to one of those sites than several providers.  One thing against you is your age, I assume since you are a student, that you are around 20.  Many providers will not see guys your age.

But, good luck.

I do agree with swim and don't see why all of that information is necessary.

As a fairly new provider, my 2 comfortable ways of verifying is #1 getting two provider references and having both or at least one verify to me that she has seen the client.
if newbie client then #2 is work verification where I ask for:
full name,
business,
position,
business number.
I discreetly call and confirm he works there.
I also ask for picture of ID to verify he is indeed this person.

These two are ways I think most professional providers do it and it has ran smoothly for me.
Swim what is your opinion/experience?
thank you

can I ask you for your ID? To verify who you say you are?

I wouldnt go anywhere near that girl. Many girls will take 2 refs and some will ask for a verification site in addition but I would never give out all that personal info as there really is no need. More info you give out, more risk there is for you.

It's been many years since colleges removed sensitive information, like SS numbers, from student IDs. So, unless there is some vulnerability related to releasing your student ID number, I think that the identify theft risk is minimal.

I think it makes the most sense for me as a provider to ask for both work verification and id.

So I know the person that you say you are is really you, you have that id. Less risky for me.

No you cannot see my id with my legal name and address. Im a young woman that lives alone.
what you can see if my eros authentication and my reviews, imo is definitely safe enough for said client :)
