Fist let me state that I have seen good providers. I have an immense appreciation and respect for their chosen field and think they are some of the most loving and giving people I know. In fact, because that is my expectation is why the following is so hard.
I search the adds and find someone in my price range that I think would be a good fit.
I then schedule the appointment and show up at the appointed time/ or they show up at the appointed time and I pay the appointed price and there added fees and what was discussed happens. I am a happy camper.
But too often one of several things go wrong:
1) the person that is in front of me is not the person in the pictures and I am completely not attracted to them.
Do I have an obligation to pay them anything? What is the appropriate thing to say?
2) they come in and ask for money up front but then everything you thought came with the experience is extra...
How I this best handled? Should I have a discussion before handing over my money?
3) Everything is wrong. I'm too big.. they are "unaware" that their teeth are ripping my cock to pieces and affended when I mention it tactfully.. In general, you can tell they don't want to be there..
Is there a way to spot this up front?
I guess the reason I bring these up is because I hear stories about providers getting taken and I think it is horrible, I would never do that to someone. But people have done the above to me and frankly I feel ripped off, and somehow I always end up paying and I want to see a provider once in a while but I'm tired of being taken advantage of.

Do you have VIP here and are you seeing well reviewed girls with many reviews as well? To me, the biggest plus TER offers is the ability to screen out the things you say are happening to you before you get in the room. Of course there is still no guarantee of a great session but the odds of a rip off session is greatly diminished if you follow the above strategy.
Now when you say the girl is not the girl in the pics, I assume you mean it is not the same girl just younger but a different girl altogether, right? That is bait and switch and certainly you would have every reason in the world to decline the session.
That course of action does carry with it some risk. She may have a "handler" near by who may want to speak with you (unlikely, but still possible), she could go BSC on you in the hotel corridor and create a scene, she could BL you and trash you publicly, so it really depends on your feelings about all this and the risk tolerance you have.
All of this just goes back to my initial point of seeing well reviews girls here. The TER database is a treasure trove of info and the ability to pm the girls reviewers is another amazing tool to make sure what happened to you virtually never happens again.
depending on whether it's an incall or outcall, if she is not the one in the pics, here's what you do. If it's incall, don't give donation and turn around and leave. If it's outcall, tell her to leave and don't give her the donation. In either case, if she says something, tell her she's not the one that you were expecting.
Unfortunately, there is no way to spot this ahead of time, you have to see her in person in order to tell if she's the person you were expecting to see. You are getting ripped off and it sucks, but it seems like you were not as diligent in your research as you should have been, if it has happened to you more than once. Check pics, phone number, reviews, and other sites to try to verify you will see who you expect.

If she isn't anywhere near as hot as her photos, I also just walk out.
Upselling beyond expected menu is grounds for a bad review.
Best to stick to well reviewed girls and avoid all this headache though.
