I'm only guessing, of course...

Why don't a reviewer's total reviews count when their place on a local "Top 100 Reviewers" board is calculated?
I think it might be because some readers/lurkers here become fans/followers of local reviewers, reading all of that person's reviews to help  him pick who to see.

Speaking only for myself, I've met a few men in the past year who told me they learned of me after a reviewer they "follow" did a favorable write-up of our date.  Whether they follow certain reviewers because they get the feeling the reviewer likes the same physical type, looks for the same things as he, or some other reason is irrelevant. My point is that there may already be guys who watch and wait for your latest review to be published.... and there would be more if you were on that list.

So these reviewers may then find it frustrating to read a great new review of a lady, thinking she is either local or visiting, only to find out he might not have any shot of meeting.  Unless, of course, he travels to the city where you met her. ;-)

To sum up, my guess is that not allowing your on-the-road reviews to be counted towards your totals prevents TER from receiving multiple complaints along the lines of "Hey! Half of this guy's reviews aren't even of ladies in my area, they're of providers I'll never get to meet.  How is that a "local" reviewer when so many of the ladies were never HERE?"..... but like I said, it's just a guess. :-)

I travel quite a bit and, as a result, more than 1/4 of my reviews are from places other than my home area.  When I check my place on my local "Top 100 Reviewers" board, I'm interested to see that only my reviews for ladies in my local area "count" in the tally.  So, for purposes of such rankings, more than 1/4 of my reviews count for nothing.  If my total reviews were counted, I'd be in a different position on my local "Top 100 Reviewers" board

It does not appear that this is true for providers.  That is, a lady's reviews are all counted toward her rankings on the "Top 100 Providers" boards, regardless of whether she was operating locally or traveling.

Anyone else find this odd?  Shouldn't reviews follow the person (as it does with providers) and not the geographical location?  I'm not losing sleep over this, but it does seem a bit odd.

If you look closely at your Mn (home ) board you will see two providers in the top 20 of the top  100 list are not local to the Minnesota scene
IMHO that is worse then not having ones reviews totaled.
What I do see is reviewers listed in the list you are talking about who have not written a review in over a year/
They stay, but a provider is dropped if not reviewed in 90 days.

Do you feel travelers do not bring their "A"
Game when they leave home?

I feel the system works

My query has nothing to do with rating the providers--home or away.  It's simply a curiosity question: Why don't a reviewer's total reviews count when their place on a local "Top 100 Reviewers" board is calculated?
