she can send in a problem report to edit her services, as well as her stats.  For some of the stats, her reviews or photos would have to back it up...for example a lady changing her body type from average to athletic would need supporting documentation of this in her reviews, and a lady challenging her body type as "flabby" could take a cell phone picture and send it to TER for them to determine what they feel is accurate. (I know of this happening a couple of times, although it is probably done on a case-by-case basis).

It seems silly to me to not just have a provider sign up, create her profile, and get issued a TER ID, then let the games begin. I know that the existing system has been around forever, but its very inefficient and kinda backwards. A provider is at the mercy of her first reviewer and if its accuracy is off and she's not right on top of it it can cost her business. It just seems very inefficient and time consuming to "fix" stuff by having to submit reports. It shouldn't fall on the lady or gent hobbyist to input this info. But I guess everyone is used to it and accepts it.

Is it the provider herserlf or is it a compilation of hobbyists reviews?

After that, changes to the profile only come from someone offering a problem report and TER accepting the report.

Many have suggested that the profile should be upgraded to reflect a compilation of the various reviews, but the problem of interpreting and making those changes would be quite arduous.

Reading reviews is really the only proper way to assess a gal's talents.

Hmmmm.....wouldnt it make more sense for the provider herself to list her services? I'm sure there are cases where a hobbyist has incorrectly listed a service as "yes" or "no"  and it could cost the provider some business.

TER's approach does put the responsibility on the hobbyist to "get it right."  IMO the hobbyist writing the first review should confirm the profile details with the provider before publishing the review.

...submitting the review. Each time a review was submitted any previously unmarked service provided could be added.

Gents can file problem reports to change or add services. This does require some evidence be submitted. Providers can also file problem reports to correct things.

very often a reviewer will list no against a service simply because he never thought to ask the gal and assumed that because he didn't do it, then she doesn't offer it.

However, do keep in mind that many if not most of the gals who do get reviewed on TER are not TER members and may not have even ever heard of TER, so that being the case, they are simply never going to get around to filling out a profile, and by default, it is the reviewer who must do so.
