Paranoia and the police

Unless you are picking up a SW or have a sign on your car that says I'm a john, a passing cop isn't looking for you.
On second thought if you're that paranoid about LE you probably look and act guilty enough to draw attention to yourself so you would be better off running whenever you see the cops.

Contacted a provider with over 100 reviews  and was straight up told what her prices + services are before she attempted to verify who I was.

Anyone else have had this happen before? Haven't had an experience yet and had thought that reviews were the best way to prevent LE.

I don't recall anything like this since the old days of calling personal ads.

Usually they would say something like:  "I start at $60 a visit and then anything beyond a release is extra."

This was back in the 1970s, and I didn't adjust for inflation.

I've noticed an increasing number of Web sites where the ladies post menus of services provided. That, it seems to me, would be just as bad as saying it on the phone. I don't understand why they would do that (and this includes some agency sites; one would think they would know better).

I've seen this too. But, my guess is they have thorough screening practices, so LE won't even get the chance to see her.

I don't consider myself paranoid at all, but I am too nervous to list my services on my page or ad. If a gent wants to know ahead of time, he can buy VIP and read the reviews. lol

That's just the way she does business. She probably advertises in a place where bargain hunters shop and is tired of all the questions from guys who can't figure it out for themselves so she just lays it out there. It's less safe for her to do it that way than it is for you.
If she was a cop trying to catch you she would try to coax you to talk about sex for money not the other way around.
Most of the guys that get swept up in sting operations are the ones who don't do the research you are doing, they make it easier for the rest of us by playing the role of low hanging fruit

If she is LE, would the mere fact that he agreed to her rates and services be enough for him to be arrested?

You are most likely correct that if you show up to a sting having agreed to exchange money for sex via text, email, etc. the very act of showing up will most likely get you arrested. Especially if you have an envelope with the exact amount of her "gift" counted out in it.

BTW, I know I have said this before, but it warrants repeating, have you noticed how much nicer people are being to you now that you are composing your thoughts in complete sentences? I didn't bust your chops on the subject, just to be a dick. I genuinely wanted to help out, and it appears that you have taken the advice and seem to be fitting in quite nicely now. Kudos

why thank you.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

The experience with this girl was after setting up appointment with another. Saw a cop coming in the opposite direction right when I was about to pull in so I left.

Knew coming in there were risks but it seems way too easy to be caught.

It's the cop that you don't see that you have to worry about.

Cops rarely are visible when conducting a sting, You most likely owe the lady you scheduled with an apology for the NCNS.

Epsilon_Eridani560 reads

if I saw a cop coming close from any direction... I am leaving.

I prefer to be a bit paranoid than to become sloppy and get arrested.

do you owe her an apology for not showing up? maybe, maybe not.
if she texts or emails you asking you what happened, then you just say that you saw a cop and you got spooked. no further explanation needed.

play if safe and have fun!

Just as I would expect an apology if a provider was coming to see me and got spooked by seeing a cop in the area. I would still consider it a NCNS and I most definitely would blast her on my local board if she did not communicate what had happened in a timely manner. I expect this kind of consideration by any professional person, and I give that same consideration myself.

Not calling and giving an explanation about what happened will most likely get the OP on many a DNS lists.

where I said... maybe, maybe not.

it depends on the situation. there are no set of rules that if something happens that we all have follow the same script.

some providers are so vindictive that even if you do apologize to them, they still blast you regardless of your apologies. I've had folks NCNS on me and yea, I'm a bit pissed, but I move on. Life happens... shit happens.  (F.Y.I., I never do outcalls, only incalls)

blasting everyone who wrongs you until hell freezes over doesn't help you make more money.

No point of sitting around and getting all stirred up over it.

but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't still do the right thing whenever possible, and it's not only possible to do the right thing here, it's downright easy.

There is no "maybe, maybe not" in this case. He OWES her an apology, no ifs, ands or buts about it. He stood here up and made no effort to let her know why. That is completely unacceptable, and is likely to get the OP on a lot of DNS lists, and that is something that you should know a LOT about.

I'd rather be a bit paranoid than sitting in a jail cell. what's your option?

EVERY cancellation deserves that the other party be notified as soon as humanly possible. That is just common courtesy which you seem to be in short supply of. No wonder you are on so many DNS lists.

every single argument in the forums. it's either your way or the highway.

you do not know me at all. you think you do, but you don't. I am tired of your constant infantile postings that does not contribute anything constructive in the forums. the constant putdowns and slanderous remarks only makes you look bad.

So it doesn't surprise me in the least that you don't like what I have to say, but that doesn't make what I have to say any less true, and I don't see anyone but you complaining about it. So I guess I will just take my chances where it comes to "looking bad" in your opinion.

and for the record, just how many DNS lists are you on? My guess would be a lot of them.

Epsilon_Eridani480 reads

to me and many others. just because you were a former moderator does not give you the license to slander people without any basis of fact.

for some time, you have been hounding me and calling me this and that... without ANY kind of proof makes me wonder about your motives. since you have not shown one shred of evidence, your continued public slandering of me is making you look bad.

the fact that you rely 100% on DNS and blacklist websites, which are filled to the rim with false statements, shows that you have access to those websites.

I posit that you are posing as a provider on those DNS / blacklists websites, which means that you are misrepresenting yourself on those websites.

maybe, it is you that is in fact is a stalker.
