I had arranged an overnight with this provider for $$$$k. We took care of finances, enjoyed some wine and talked abit. When it was time to get intimate, I hopped in for a quick shower, and she ran out of the hotel room. Ruined my night, that's for sure. I don't want to just let it slide. What should I do? I was thinking about hiring a private investigator and try to collect, or do some rough justice.

There isn't a court for your expereince, the best thing you can do is to let us all know who it was. SHare it here, and share it with her home area. Let the hobby community know, and that will get the word out. It's terrible that you wont get your hard earned money back, but it comes with the territory.
Letting us know shuts off a large part of the market this scammer.

I don't mean to make light, I just thought a little humor was in order.
Let it go, and call it a lesson. I always walk into any experience with a provider knowing it may be a rip off, and never bring more money than I can afford to lose. So far, I have been lucky. Not every experience has been great, but thanks to TER they have all been legitimate.
What happened to you was one of several reasons why I never saw a provider until I found this site. While as Waterclone says, we all take the risk, the risk can be minimized by using reliable providers who have many good or great reviews on this site.
The best thing you can do is out this rip off artist which will help ensure that she doesn't do it to someone else. Please write the review ASAP.
I do not recommend "rough Justice". You may get yourself in a lot of trouble. In theory, it's a nice thought. In reality, it may cost you a lot in legal fees and it is unlikely you will recover your hard earned money.
Move on and learn from this horrible experience.
This is why I have a hard time returning to this "hobby".

I would love to see some of the Shrew providers here if a client took services and did not pay their donation. Forget if it were $$$$, even if it were only $150, they would blackball this person out of existence!
From my "outsider seat" where I have used a few providers, I must say that this "hobby" is a one way street in favor of a providor, and a complete waste of time and money.
You think that providers don't get ripped off??? I doubt there is a single provider out there who hasn't been ripped off or no-showed.
As a hobbiest, I think we definitely have it better. Aside from the fact that they are getting rich while I go broke. 
But, you have to learn that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, and some of those times it is a costly lesson. If you can't handle it, then don't take any risks and don't hobby.

To pay someone 4 k for night is equal 18 girls x 200 . If someone of 18 girls ripp you of, you still have 14 good ones .
Take shower before , or together . Best way is when you walk in room , lock dor and take key with you in bathroom , so girl cant run outside , or hide key in designated place .
That way , you , your money and provider are locked in room and only you can open door .
