Hi,

Are the Boards only for VIP Members?

How do I get my first review to become a vIP?

THanks

...are not just for VIP members.

You can help yourself get your first review by participating on the L.A. Discussion board.  You should contribute only if you have something relevant to contribute.  You can also link your ad/website to your posts, except as here, where you started the thread.  Guys will get a feel for you from your posts.

You can also post your ad on the L.A. ad board once every seven days.

With any board or thread, read (only) for a while (a few days?) to get a feeling for the tone and style of the regular posters: serious, silly, sarcastic, sardonic, and so on.  You're less likely to rock the boat and more likely to get friendly helpful replies and comments.

which allows you access to the PM system as well as allows you to read your own reviews.

You must contact TER administration and request this, however.  They will also link your profile to any post you make when you get that.

I hardily suggest that you read the Newbie/Self Help Manual that is linked on this page.  It will answer a lot of questions about how to use TER.

Welcome.

As a provider, you can ask for limited VIP membership when you get your first review.  You just contact admin by using the 'contact us' button.  You can also ask to have your reviews linked to your handle.  Limited VIP allows you to read the juicy details of your own reviews, not those of others.  If you want to do that, you will have to pay just like the guys do.

To get a review, you must see a member as a client.  You can ask him if he would review you.  To post, look in the regional board list, and post in the LA forum since you are in that area.  For the time being, you are moderated which means your posts must be approved by admin, so they will not appear as soon as you submit them.  After you have shown that you can follow the posting guidelines, you can contact admin and ask to be un-moderated.
