Cops can and will say whatever they want during a sting. They can also drink, get naked, and even engage in sexual activity in many states.
and yes, cops can and do make arrests even AFTER having sex with the lady that they then arrest.
It's not right, it's not fair, it certainly doesn't pass the common sense test, but it's true.
