Why not just ask a question?

Maybe what you want to know can be asked openly on this board, or perhaps you can put the question in terms that could be posted on this board.

I have questions best answered via PM, questions that can only be answered by one who has seen it all. Who is the wisest hobbyist among us?

or is it fist up? If you can imagine the kink, he's done it! He has the most amazing stories to share.

There was one guy who had posted 275 or so reviews.  I guess he would be the man to talk to.

Seems as if every state has the father of all hobbyists. I think it would be hard to narrow it down...

I mean no disrespect to the "most experienced" guy with so many reviews, but that may not necessarily be the best; there would be a big difference between the most experienced and the wisest.

I like the idea of just posting, use an alias if needed; I believe the "wisest" would be the collective wisdom of us all. At least that is what this board has taught me.

do you want someone who has been around, but will keep the answer light? Do you want to talk to someone who is sensitive and thoughtful in their responses? Do you want someone who will state the facts and nothing but the facts? I think you should post your questions on the boards. You would get responses from all types. If you are worried about privacy use an alias...food for thought.....

I know from him that it's very wise to have manly bank account in this hobby.  I'm working on it.

That's a good one. If your hobbying you can't be too wise. It sure ain't the smartest thing to do. Do more review's make you smarter or dumber?

Yep I got it all covered ... every angle you can imagine and then some. But just a heads up, I do charge. I am tired of giving freebee's.

Define the parameters of "wisest".

Is is most reviews? If so what about those that choose not to review. is it the greatest number of postings?    what about those that choose to remain on the sidelines but very active.

This is a very subjective question.  s stated there are many knowledgeable people across the country. More specifically each large town or state may have a number of very high profile hobbyists that have their finger on the pulse.

It is interesting that you use an alias to ask who is King of the hill so to speak while you remain behinmd the curtain.

Anonymity is a must, which is why I chose to ask for direction from the group, not answers. It is also why I chose to use an alias.

I don't want to know who is King of the Hill or who has the most reviews. I'd like to know who is the most respected hobbyist. I need real answers, not tough love or smart-ass jokes.
