This is helpful info. Thanks!
I'm a newbie too.
My concern with signing up with P411/DateCheck is getting billed on my credit card. I want to be discreet and don't want spouse to see CC transaction.
Would appreciate any advice or recommendations here!

To begin, I would post on your local board asking if there are any newbie friendly providers, along with some detail on the kind of lady you are wanting to meet, and they will explain their process to you.

Another option is to sign up for preferred411.com or date-check.com and see ladies who are newbie friendly to you being screened by those services.

Once you have seen a provider and you find another provider you would like to see, send provider #1 an e-mail asking if she would be all right with providing a reference for you (beginning your note with something along the lines of, "I really enjoyed meeting with you, blah, blah, blah, would be nice touch).  After she (hopefully) says that she will be happy to provide a reference for you, then contact provider #2 and let her know that she can contact provider #1 at (insert provider #1's e-mail) for a reference on your behalf.
