I can see how approaching the fetish question can be tricky.

I personally don't tolerate the sexual talk before meeting, but if a guy wants a BDSM/fetish date and there's something that I need to be prepared for ahead of time (for example, if I'm supposed to be "in character" for a particular roleplay setting), then I wouldn't have a problem with that being communicated prior to meeting. That said, if your particular fetish has to do with specific sex acts or whatever, I'd caution against bringing it up before meeting. Your other option is to ask (after screening, of course) if it would be okay with her if you asked a few specific questions. Just be prepared for the possibility that she'll say no.

So I've been reading a lot and thinking of trying my first time but I'm getting confused. Some articles/faqs/blogs say to ask about msog if it's uncertain and also to tell them about any preferences you might have ahead of time or check with them about any fetishes. But then you aren't supposed to mention anything related to sex so how are you supposed to ask them or tell them anything like that? Makes no sense.  I'm a bit lost, can anyone clarify?

That can only be done by getting VIP here which I HIGHLY recommend. Any oft reviewed gal will have ample guys stating if she does/doesn't allow msog.

No need to ask the girl. Although some will be fine with your question, some will go nuts and some will not respond at all.

if she has a website, or ads, or reviews somewhere, you may get an idea of what she allows, provides, etc.  Once you are with her, you can ask about what you're interested in.  You can def tell her of your references, she will need them to screen you, it's part of the process.  If she has reviews, you might contact one or more of them for more information.

reviews.  This should answer any questions you have about a particular provider.  With VIP you can also PM other reviewers for more information.

you should go into it trying to get to know her and building up a comfort level.

Alot of Kink and Fetishes take a certain amount of mutual respect, comfortability and trust. This is not something I would recommend on your first visit with a lady. Also, if you have alot of demands before you even meet her, its going to change the date. Just go into the first date and see how things go. If your looking for alot of extras just find someone your comfortable with, and then start asking about the extras.

Obviously do your research and find someone who has a history of being comfortable with what your looking for. Just don't look for it on the first date.

Yeah definitely not looking for anything wild or a lot of extras or anything if I do. In your opinion or anyone else who wants to chime in, if there are no reviews on TER for the provider or ads but there are a couple others on another review site, would you steer clear? I'm not familiar if other places arent reputable or anything like that

Thanks

While there are other reputable review sites out there, TER is probably your best bet just because it's a bit more comprehensive.
