sometimes, when you need to edit a post. the website will cut off certain parts of the original post. is there a way for that not to happen?

has anybody else noticed this?

I think you are talking submitting a post with "post message," letting it go live, and then going back to "edit message."

Sometimes, but not every time, my subject line gets truncated or deleted and I have to fix it.

...when you edit the post.  Everything after the quotation mark will be cut off.  The way for this not to happen -- don't use quotation marks in the subject line!  LOL!

On my computer, when I have to re-type the subject line because it was cut off, when I start to type it, the entire previous subject line shows up underneath the subject box and I can autofill it.  The only problem is when the quotation mark started the subject line.  The entire subject line is cut off so you have to remember the first couple of words you wrote before it can autofill.

The other thing that happens is if you put an emoticon in The subject line, it disappears when you edit.
Anyway if you are aware of it, it is easy to get around the quote thing like BigPapasan said. As for the emoticon, if you want it back you have to do it the old way (i.e. colon and parenthesis) However it has been like that for years and it does seem like something TER could fix.
