I prefer a little more time so I can google location to know exactly where I'm going. Nothing like missing a turn or exit and taking 20 min to get back to where you want to be. Plus I like to be a little early to sit and relax a bit and scope out the area, especially at night.

I'm about 3 hours out from my meeting and haven't heard anything from my provider about location.  Granted, I've read this is not uncommon several hours out, but I had confirmed on Friday and she's been very good about responding to emails.  In the last exchange on Friday night, she mentioned we are definitely on and she would be touching base with me in the morning (today) with incall location.  I figured she might be waiting until check in to forward that information, and waited until about 30 minutes ago to send another email confirming we are all set.

She's a very well reviewed provider (20+), and this radio silence today seems out of place with our conversations so far.  Is this a red flag?  Clearly I can't go anywhere without information, but I don't want to be considered the NCNS.  That said, if something is fishy, I don't want to do something stupid.

Aside from to be expected anxiousness, I also don't want to over think it either.  But my comfort level requires enough time to casually arrive at location vs. rushing and looking obviously so.

For me, it's approx 30-60 min before the meeting ... Others may give it hours ahead

Hi Brilove.  Yea, for me it was some momentary anxiety (first ever date) that was a result of her not having reliable phone/internet access earlier in the day.  Once we did connect, it was really easy.

...for me it's possible 60 min won't be enough time for me to be on time to say nothing about 30. However in many cases neither the lady nor I would know that until it's too late. Fortunately for me that's never happened. There are of course many ways this can be done. Just wanted to put that out there.

I can certainly see how that would happen.  Being discreet and maintaining the right mindset doesn't necessarily equate to speed with precision to the minute.  Now that I have gone through it, I've got a frame of reference which I know will help me maintain my calm and not let overthinking ruin me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
