Just returned from my first hobby date.  I wanted to share some things that might be helpful for others about to embark on their first experience.  Well, that and to address an earlier thread that I posted in a moment of high anxiety earlier.

My mind and nerves were absolutely racing today, thinking and preparing for tonight.  I definitely experienced some doubt and let my overthinking eat at me.  But, once I had the location details confirmed and was on my way over to the incall, a strange calm set in.  I got to the location about 30 minutes early, scouted the parking lot and made my way to a nearby area where I could wait less obviously.  I ran over my plan to walk in to the hotel and make my way to the room about 50 times, checked and rechecked my envelop and then got the text to come on over.

I parked grabbed a laptop bag with my items and headed in.  Momentary panic when I couldn't immediately locate the elevators, but kept cool.  Told myself that no one knew why I was there, so no need to make a bigger deal of it.  I looked at a dummy folder I brought as a prop and peered at my phone as I located the elevator and headed up.  All of my anxiety seemed to fade as I approached the door.  Knocked and made my way in to the room.  Totally different type of nervousness now as I am looking at a lovely lady, knowing what is about to happen.  

Easy conversation shifted to the real reason for being there.  I was honest and explained it was my first time hobbying.  My provider was just so sweet and understanding.  She read the situation perfectly and made sure that I was comfortable.  No surprise there, but the moral of the story is, being totally upfront about being nervous made it so much easier to enjoy myself.  Letting myself trust her was critical, and she earned that within moments as she proceeded at just the right pace.  I didn't perform quite as well as I would have liked, just sensory overload after a while, but she was so warm and understanding.  Made me feel really good.

There are several members whose posts were absolute game changers for me, and I thank you for helping us newbs.  Learned a valuable lesson tonight - I am my own worst enemy if I overthink it.  Successful first mission and I can truly say that I could not have enjoyed it as much as I did if not for the research done in this group.  Now off to write the review!
