Call P411 rather than using the online form and explain your situation. Gina is very good at what she does, if you work with her she can usually get things done for you.

Really NEW to the hobby, and I have been browsing for a while now. My biggest concern is safety, and I want to make sure that I do everything properly. I have no problem with screening / LE checks, but I am curious however, as to what these entail (specifically an LE check). I looked at the membership forms on p411 and rs2k. The money is absolutely no issue, but they are asking for employment information (perfectly understandable). However, what it really boils down to for me, is that I am currently self-employed working on a startup. I imagine I can't vouch for myself - hah. I just want to make sure that the provider knows that I am ok / safe / and willing to make the experience go as professional and smooth as possible, and that I know that they are the same way.
On a side note, I am a full-time student at a university. Would that be something that is accepted?

Yeah, I figured that - hah, but I have read multiple reviews and such where the reviewer refers to "light LE screening". Is there a difference between such a screening and the screening done by P411?
Some people still participate in this "light LE screening", which usually entitles the lady grabbing the guys stuff, or the lady flashing her tits, or making the guy touch her stuff.....it's all BS, and protects you against nothing. Some people are still just grossly misinformed that this protects them against LE, under the assumption that LE will not partake in these activities...which is wrong, and hence, LE will follow through on your request for a "LE check", and shortly after, still arrest you.
The screening done on P411 is checking out who you are....where you work, do you have a rap sheet that includes rape, kidnapping, beating up women, etc, and that you are not LE. The two "checks" are from completely different worlds, lol.
to determine that you are not LE or some kind of weirdo. P411 is pretty good at verifying you and that is better than giving out your personal info to a number of providers.
As to the LE checks, previous comments are right, they are BS, but many do them anyway. If you're in the room with uncle LEO, you're screwed in not such a good way.
Since you are a full time college student, you may find many providers will not see you because of your age, as I assume you are in your early 20's. Many gals have a lower age limit for the guys they will see, esp if they are much older than you. The fact that you are a full time student is not sufficient verification of your character, but it might help to eliminate your being LE.
Get VIP here if you don't already have it and read the self help center. It has lots of valuable information for you.

I waited a long time to even try to get an account through p411 because I assumed that I wouldn't be to provide them with necessary information. I couldn't have been more wrong. I am a blue collar worker with another source of income (don't worry, it's totally legit). So calling my work to talk directly to me was not really an option. I'm not sure if I am supposed to share the rest of their verification methods, but I will say that they worked with me and it was quick and painless. P411 has really opened the doors for me in this world. I don't know, but I imagine the other verification/prescreening websites are similar.
I had my first experience with an escort that agreed to meet me for dinner before the fun and I was not a member of p411 at the time. She was a nice, attractive lady, but I wouldn't recommend doing it this way. I was worried about her being LE on top other all sorts of other thoughts, I realize now that some of them were irrational. She was also running a little bit late, which made so worried that I almost bolted. So I would say join one of those sites to put your mind at ease if not for any other reason.
Make sure you always treat the ladies well and with respect. Keep in mind that you will need references to see most of the girls. Also, remember that a lot of them talk with each other even if you don't use them as a reference. It's better if they say nice things about you than bad things.
I hope you get them. So if not- I'll just say a bit of what I said here. Like someone else says "LE checks" mean nothing, and I hope no lady does it. Personally, I prefer rs2k - but for you if you dont live in Chicago- you will probably need a backup- so get p411. And always ask ladies if they give references, when you have references from well known ladies you should be fine. But every lady does things differently, so try to be as willing as possible to let her feel comfortable. Good luck.
