it's great that you have a confirmation

I'm currently in the same situation.  I'm a newbie, too.  I did my research for about 1 month, picked this really well-reviewed provider and emailed her for an appointment about 3 weeks in advance.  Gave her my p411 id and more to help with the screening and I'm still waiting for the confirmation.  All the communications have been via email (I don't like calling for first time meeting).  Initially, she replied every 2 days or so and I was ok with it since ppl are busy and all.  Now, it's getting to 3-4 days.  I still have no idea if I pass the screening or not and the appointed date is getting close.

Kinda made me breath easier to know that some one else was in the same situation.  I was getting really anxious.  Guess all I can do now is to wait and pray.

I am fairly new to the hobby and have a question for providers, but some hobbyist may be able o answer as well. I recently tried to set up an appointment with a very reputable provider, and I did so 3 weeks in advance, because I know she is very busy. She would not confirm until 3 day's before the date. It seemed like she was waiting to see if she got a better offer from one of her regular clients. My question is, do providers have an preffered client list ? Do you have your favorite clients, and your not so favorite clients ? If so what get's you to the preferred client list ? Please enlighten me. By the way she did eventually confirm, and I'm seeing her tomorrow. Thanks for the insight.

There is a risk to seeing new clients. The lady doesn't know if you are LE, a creep, no show, no pay, etc. The best of screening is not foolproof.

I am sure that every lady has a preferred client list. At least a mental one. If the guy is nice, books multiple hours, I am sure he goes to the top of the list. Even a "regular" will get preference over someone she doesn't know.

That said, the most reputable ladies will not bump a previously booked client, hence your experience.

There are also jerks that just like to waste a lady's time - make appts and cancel or no show. Limiting new guys to booking 3 days in advance minimizes that risk.

Now, if you have seen her, and she still does that to you, then she must have a really big preferred list, or you were not a great date.

The no show and cancelation rates for guys that book that far out and have never seen the girl is high.  If you reconfirm a couple days out they feel a lot better about the chance that you will actually show up.  Last minute or day of cancelations really mess with their schedules.  Once they know you that concern dissipates.  The first way to get on a girls preferred client list is to actually show up at the agreed upon time.

Not sure exactly why she made you wait for the three day confirmation. The others posters made great points, maybe it was a reliability issue being new to her? Sounds like it all worked out though,  have fun tomorrow! Having preferred clients is similar to you having an ATF. Chemistry plays into it. There is also the term "regular" and sometimes the preferred is a regular.  A regular is a frequent flyer.  Regular get togethers (weekly for some).  I can't speak for everyone but I personally do put my "regulars" first.  I wouldn't cancel on someone else but if it came down to two wanting the same day, my regulars would have priority. Its loyalty in a sense. Being a regular isn't the only way to be preferred though. At times I walk away thinking wow now that was as good as it gets! Other times I think that was ok but didn't rock my world.  Either way I am still grateful for being chosen but sometimes its over the top. Just chemistry. When you click, you click!  Glad it all worked out and wishing you an over the top time tomorrow!

I sounds to me like she may have waited to confirm to make sure you were still able to meet.  Making an appointment 3 weeks out is awesome.  If I had my druthers, all my appointments would be that far in advance.

When someone makes an appointment with me, I usually have them confirm the day before or the day of.  That way, I know they are still planning on showing up.  So many times I've had appointments made in advance, there was no confirmation and no one showed up.  For me, conformation the day of is mandatory.  Also, I would never cancel on a new client to see a regular or "preferred" client.

As for your other question, heck yes I have my favorite clients!  Those are the guys who I've seen for years on a regular basis.  We genuinely like each other, have a great comfort level and have chemistry.

If you are communicating with her on a daily basis, you are wasting her time, and maybe yours.

She should either have screened you or not within a few days. After that, she should have either booked you, or said when to get back to her to book.

If you are 3-4 days out, I would try to see another lady. You don't have much time to screen, and she seems like a flake.

If you see the same Provider on a steady basis, about once a week or so for a few months, you're nice to her, then you'll be on her preferred client list. With the Provider I'm seeing, I've been seeing her for well over a year. Booking a Session with her is no problem for me. I can pretty much see her at the time I want.
