Why no texting? Evidence?
I used to hate it until I finally got a phone with a QUERTY keyboard, for example.
Have you ever tried to text with an old fashion 10 digit keypad?
I doubt it's the evidence thing, especially if she accepts emails.
I receive a ridiculous amount of one-line texts from strangers saying:
Are you available?
R u avalable?
Do u do grk?
hello?
gfe?
hi
I don't answer any of them. Ignore and delete.
I do answer texts from people I know if they are running late, if they have arrived or to set up an appointment but then, only if I know them very well. Otherwise, for first time friends I need a proper email or phone call to introduce themselves.

The pro side for me is: I am able to keep communication open for all my special friends, we don't just set appointments, We communicate. There are many times that I/he are unable to speak on phone, so we have private time through texts. It could be a simple "Hello" or a fun chatter night!! Emails fall into this category as well.
The Con side: It stinks when you post an ad and you get a fair amount of shoppers, and all they want to do is play games. I have learned to read those well and delete them as soon as they start their games. I will add that those shopper's and gamer's have been from when I post my BP ad.
I am text friendly with most of my wonderful gent's that allow for it.
My guess is some are agencies or (Bad word) pimps and won't allow a few texts to get in the way of $$.
Some guys will abuse the privilege of having your #
You should only utilize the phone to book &/or confirm a date.
I prefer email only & never call anyone, or give out my # until after I have reveived a deposit to book.
A complete pain in the ass to text. I also find guys like to keep texting. And that gets annoying. Good thing I turn off that phone at days end and those texts that do get sent do not get answered if sent hours after.
It made sense when all we had was a 10 key "phone" pad; but with most every phone (save for an octogenarian's "Cricket" from AARP) having a KWERTY board there is no reason to be intentionally illiterate.
