Is there a membership list somewhere? It would be great to be able to white list guys I know to help them with references. If not, do I wait until someone asks me to white list them?

.....many gentlemen prefer to have zero or very few white lists, and others want many.
When in doubt; don't.
You might, when wrapping up your date, or in your thank you note, ask the gentleman if he would like to be white listed, and also let him know that he may list you as a reference should he need one.

What would be reason not to want to be white listed?
I usually ask him if he would, like to be whitelisted here on TER. I think more providers should instead of using it as a marketing ploy to get more dates to whitelist a gentlemen.
for the user by their TER review name... and then it will tell you who has white listed him
...for any handles you know of by searching by reviewer. Click "Reviews" tab at the top of the page. Look for the links just below the tabs. The fourth one from the left is "Search". Click it. Drop down menu click "Search by Reviewer". Enter reviewer's handle/user name. His reviews will come up. Scroll to the bottom. His white lists will be there if he has any. He can choose to have his white lists hidden so you not seeing any doesn't mean he has none. If he hasn't reviewed anyone he won't be listed.
