SO I live in Reno Nevada but TER does not have an ad board for Reno. I don't really want to post on the "other cities" board because its covers all the cities left out of the main advertising boards. How would I go about advertising here on TER? I do have my own site (which needs updating). Your thoughts?
Ad posting guidelines are in there. Since there is no Reno board, use the regional board closest to you if you don't want to use the other cities board. Before you can post an ad here, you must have the TER link on your website, that's explained in the self help center.

Since that is your closest major city with a board. You can try alternating between the two boards. TER allows one ad per week. Try posting on the SF board one week and the "other cities" board the following week. Good luck, and keep your eyes open. With the influx of new members from that other site, TER may just add some new boards. Who knows
