No clue how this website works. I've been on bp for the past few months and hate it. Just want advice on how to build more clientele and yield more business. How do you post an ad on this website?

you need to have a website usually with a banner from TER on the front page.
You are allowed 1 ad per 7 days
This is a great site for EXCELLENT clients who are not only local, but nationwide!

The site is not as confusing as you all may think... just organized in a different way! 
A website is good to have, and if you have one and link to it in your TER ad then you do need the TER link on the main page as you said, but you don't NEED a website. You can link your TER ad to an ad mall ad (in the OP's case she can link to her BP ad) such as eros, slixa, bp, etc. or a profile on p411, date-check etc.

There's nothing perfect about any ad venue... nor anything gold about others... but your ad needs to stay up for longer periods. To post reviews here (clients must do) they need an ad or a web site to link to. I'd suggest a generic ad that you can let run for several weeks at a time... even if you move around in your area.
Somewhere you need to host your pictures... I am a sticker for honest pictures. Need not be totally explicit but need to be from several angles & a variety of poses & props. So, taken in total, I'll know what you look like before I call. Your pictures are your biggest selling point.
You need a separate work phone & work email address...
