Vdara or Aria on June 15-17?

Hello fellow TER members!

I'm inquiring about if you have a choice, which hotel would you recommend?  I have stayed at Aria and loved it, but what about Vdara?  I'm looking more of a room v. room comparison.  This is not a gambling trip, so there is no preference on gambling or not.  And besides, I have other "activities" in mind.  Thank you in advance!

I like the rooms at either property both are very nice and since you are not worried about gambling try something new.

I have stayed at both places.   but to me there is no comparison.  I gamble at the Aria but LOVE the rooms at the Vdara.  If you get a corner suite, you get a full kitchen, an ice maker, a washer and dryer 180 views of the strip, Cosmo, the Bellagio fountain etc.  plus two bathrooms.  My view at the Aria was of that ugly ass (mho) slanted yellow condo building. I usually stay at least a week when I go to LV so the room is important to me.  The extra conveniences at the Vdara make it a much better value.  Plus if you have an M Life Platnum card you get all the same discounts for rooms because it's a Mlife property as is the Aria.

Even the least expensive rooms at the Vdara have kitchenettes and small refrigerators.

If you can swing the executive suite, make sure you get a room number that ends in 002.  The best views are from that room number.  Fifteenth floor or higher.

You also only have a short walk to the Bellagio from the Vdara.

Plus the ladies all love the views.

No joke the have a sweet scent because aroma of Jasmine is pumped through the AC!

The scent is called Asian Garden and they sell it in the gift shop for $25.00.  But next time you walk in notice that once you get through the doors the scent disappears.  The scent at the Vdara is called green fig and they sell it in the salon.  Same thing there, it's just inside the doors.

I like them both.  I like the Aria corner suite the best out of the 2 properties.  The regular room at Aria isn't nothing to brag about and its not very open.  The regular Vdara room may be a little better.  But I like the corner rooms at Aria better than the corner rooms at Vdara.

Vdara is only like a 3 minute walk from Aria anyway so it's no big deal.  I like to have too much fun often so getting to my room at Aria is usually a little easier and faster to go passout at 4am.  Except the hallways at Aria can get confusing lol.

Vdara is usually cheaper and just use one of their promotion codes and get a bargain.
