Like you, I take care of matters that have no trace.  Cash is king.  There is a snowball's chance in hell of me ever giving a provider my credit card info.

Yes, I've seen ads where the ladies may barter for certain items that they want, offer credit card payment and now Bitcoin.

Someone recently posted to a local board:

Just wondering if anyone knows of any [local] area providers that accept credit cards?
I'm a cash and carry man, myself, but should TER add a field to the Profiles about:

Payment Options: cash ONLY, cash, credit card, gift card, bitcoin, specie [yes! there's a Provider who accepts gold and silver!], bearer bonds, gems, don't know, YMMV ...

I'd say there are higher priority fixes and changes for TER to make, but the guy's Q seems legit.  You've just arrived in town, low on cash, it's late, but you want a "meeting" before your other meeting on fairly short but easily screened notice.  You surely want to search on Payment Options to speed things up.

(Not me, but) Delayed flight, late arrival, no cash, blue balls, desperate for a late hookup ... Rather than try 20 names, search and limit by "accepts CC" or "accepts left over airline snacks."

In the future, when the US Treasury and Homeland Security have eliminated everything but the $1, $5 and $10 bill and basic rates start at $1200, we'll need some other payment method anyway or "Leave the gift in an unmarked suitcase in the bathtub.
