yes, 'godfather swaggers a bit, but "surrendering the field" because someone strikes you as overbearing is probably not the right path. i also don't believe name calling or personal attacks are the greatest strategy either.
All of this petulant behavior just draws the away from the real power of the board: its humor, playfulness, review medium, anouncement medium. But really, it is just a bit of static in the long run.
The reality is that even if people are not posting, they still are retaining their memberships, lurking, and not really contributing anything to the OTHER major board. YUP, the reviews keep coming in, and certain members of parties need the reviews to keep the "business in business". With out reviews, a lot folks would be just faces in a great sea of options.
And despite feeble attempts by folks to control, boycott or otherwise pollute the board with subterfuge, TER goes on and thrives. Long Live TER. I've always believed that the swaggerin', sniveling, and melodrama actually makes things a little colorful and tends to eat its own tail in the long run. And to any fool who things they can control the course of the board, you are sadly mistaken. It has its own life, and part of that are the squabbles, control struggles, and histrionics.
So for what it is worth that's my last 2 cents - and I guess I am the one got things going when I responded to the early post about "where have all the escort posts gone".

Obviuosly you are in the Minority about my pointman posts and comments. I give plugs for any provider that I have seen be it locals or travelers that give above average service for a good price point. Not to "Control" what they charge or tell them how to run their business. I give my input and my opinion. last time I checked this was and is a free country and freedom of speech is still a current issue.
You talk about my controlling the board and my obnoxious posts. Seems someone is a bit jealous of the respect that others have GIVEN me which I have earned with my post. They are not candy coated and I will not pull any punches. I usually am pretty level minded and don't fly off the handle.
If you take a look at my posts and the number of reads that they receive. Obviuosly some people would tend to disagree with your remarks. I have heard many people comment on my Pointman reports or copmments in general, that they appreciate the heads up, or information provided.
I contribute these reports to assist fellow hobbyists to aide them in making decisons. If you do not like them, then don't use them or read them. Further more it sounds like you have issues with this board and maybe YOU should consider other options than THIS board. Sounds like you are very jealous of the people thet Respect me and my posts!

Speaking of this hobby and testing. How often do any of the ladies get tested. I'm sure some do and others don't. Then again, how often do any of the men that see these ladies get tested (not just MDL). Start thinking about it and anyone in this entire hobby is putting themselves at significant risk.
Yes MDL has many reviews, but i'd guess not nearly as many reviews as some of the local, popular ladies have. Does that mean that we shouldn't see them?
