DATY safety question

I'm a newcomer (1 escort visit, 1 FBSM visit), and I plan on playing it responsibly safe. Although everyone likes a BBBJ better than a CBJ, it's a small price to pay.

However, I LOVE to DATY, and I notice in almost all the reviews I've read, that there is no hesitation on the part of most hobbyists to enjoy this as well.

With my one escort experience, I resisted (oh so difficult) the temptation while in 69 because of my health and safety concerns.

My question is: Am I being a nervous nelly newbie? What are the risks? Obviously oral is big enough a risk for the ladies to insist on CBJ, why not the other way around.

I realize that unprotected DATY is a risk for the ladies as well. Are there some who do not allow?

I realize this post is a multi-part inquiry. Any and all feedback is appreciated, from hobbyists and providers alike.

Bring it on!
Many thanks!!!

I don’t DATY b/c I’ve got this mental block about being down there where so many have been before. Same logic could be used for DFK but that doesn’t bother me. Go figure. The STD thing has been discussed ad nauseam Do a message search

I wish I could say that all the mainstream media fear mongering and hype over STDs is bullshit but unfortunately there is some semblance of credibility to their grandstanding. To the Satyr's favor however; at least in respect to DATY the enzymes found in our saliva do a journeyman’s job of neutralizing a great many different STD concerns. This along with the extra care our resident professionals take of themselves puts the risks taken with DATY comparable to that of driving.

There are few guarantees in life but many calculated risks

Thanks for the input!

Since I posed the original query, I have done some internet sleuthing on the subject and am mildly encouraged to find additional info in support of the relativley lower risk associated with DATY compared with other activities.

One thing of interest: In the TER polls I noticed that 13% of respondents claim to have caught an STD from a provider. That is more than 1 in 10 people. Granted there are other factors at play here (what percentage of respondents are inclined towards high risk activities), but the percentage is significant nonetheless. I personally think that if 1 in 10 hobbyists out there stand a chance of coming home at night with an STD, I'm inlcined to take the issue of safety pretty seriously.

The other interesting stat from the polls: 43% claim to have engaged in bare back FS from a provider.

My only comment to that: YIKES! Dudes, put a cap on it!

Now, having said all that, I will likely be more inclined on my next provider encounter to succumb to my temptation to DATY. It seems to be one of the "safest" risks for the hobbyist. And one of the genuine pleasures.

I'd be careful.  As far as AIDS, you are pretty safe, as it is difficult to catch AIDS (sex, especally anal sex, and sharing needles are almost ideal route for transmission), but HSV-1 and Syphilis are easially spread that way.  Hep B and C might be spread via oral sex, but that is unlikely, and I believe, never proven.

One more reason to avoid the druggies. 60% of HepC infections are IV drug users.

Well rated, TER hobbyist approved Trollop is the safest bet around.

You can catch an STD from recieving a BBBJ or performing DATY.  If you have a significant other, I recommend playing it safe at all times.

If you are concerned about catching an STD from a DATY, look into dental dams.  They're kinda like a condom for DATY.  Definitely won't feel as good but, like a condom, would probably give you peace of mind.

ACCORDING TO MY DOCTOR YOU CAN GET SOME STD BY PERFORMING UNPROTECTED ORAL SEX    ONE THAT COMES TO MIND IN GENITAL HERPES   JUST GO ON THE INTERNET AND TYPE IN STD OR GENITAL HERPES AND IT WILL VERIFY THIS
