Mya went to high school in my school district. She was a local legend before she burst on the national scene. She's quite a player even though I'd rather watch paint dry than womens b-ball.
I will say that I like to watch Tourazi(sp?) play. She plays more like a guy and handles the ball like it's a yo yo!

2 more to go.

This Griner gal is pretty scary on Baylor. Cannot wait to see how they handle her.

So proud of my ladies!

When I lived in New England, I used to go and see a couple of their games each year, as well as the men's. Gambel pavillion on campus is a great facility in Storrs.

Go UConn!

been to three of their games this year. I really believe the Cardinal has the front court to battle the Huskies. The Cardinal only needs the guards to play up.

Regardless, I'm glad someone is watching women's college basketball. I actually, prefer the women's game over the men's game. I like the under the rim play in the women's game. Griner is special.

Stanford "can" give UConn a good game. They need to get past OK first, and we need to get by Baylor. The over reporting of how the end result is already in concrete is just silly. The games have to be played, and Stanford certainly could win.

that you have on your LV Board. The phone calls have been overwhelming. Sorry. :-D

Griner will be a test, but here's a good breakdown of how the teams stack against UCONN.

And I still want to do DATY on Caroline DOTY. :)

One of my favorite pics of her and the luscious Sue Bird, when they helped the ladies capture the 2004 Olympic gold medal (and the mens team reacts to their own showing - bronze - above)

Diana Taurasi is the greatest female basketball player ever in College, imo.

And I still think she has a chance to do the same in the WNBA.

Clutchest performer I have ever seen.

I agree, Lorsha, Taurasi has steel between the ears and has a 'killer' mentality. Must admit I don't follow Ladies Roundball much, but I'll tune in to see Taurasi play and also to watch the UCONN girls in the Final 4-they are amazing--Later, Dear-xxxx, 1rob...out
