A lot of truth in that actually...

Another thing I say is, I just say she's a friend I met from grad school. I usually take some classes every year in order to learn new things, even though I've been done with grad school ages ago.  Since most schools have undergrad and graduate in same location, I have found that it comes in very handy when explaining to a friend how I'm out with a young hot 21 year old girl who is over a decade younger than me.

Sometimes, I tell my friends "she's a dancer I met"... if she really was a dancer before.

so you decide to do dinner....  someone you know sees you

how do you handle?

is a lunch date an option, that would be easier to explain away....

I've been a niece, personal assistant, daughter, recruiter, girlfriend and sister-in-law. The only ones I had to actually follow through with was girlfriend when I accompanied my SD (now client) to a wedding and niece when I was shopping with another gentleman.

...or choose times that accomplish the same thing. Think up a plausible explanation ahead of time. I worked in a field where I had younger coworkers and I mentored many as well. I do still see many of them for lunches etc. That always works for me.

So far this has not happened but it's possible.

Nothing wrong with that.. Typically that's the story or if you are attending a congress coincidentally she is doing the same.. The main thing is that she is dressed in a classy understated manner so she looks believable.

The discussion will then shift to boats.
