My bad!!

Answer is always the same - tip if you want, don't tip if you don't want. Don't let anyone tell you what you should do. Some people like CBJ some people don't want to have sex. Besides respecting each other's boundaries there really is no right or wrong to most things in this club of ours..

Just have fun. :

ok.  newbie question. for the high end providers, is a gratuity or tip expected(extra donation).

most gals will say that they are appreciated.

I generally tip when I am very happy with the session, at least for shorter sessions, but a lot of guys do not.

If you do a search on here on tipping, you'll find hours of reading.

I feel tippers are naive... and may have an angle of their own,  unless they are wealthy enough to afford to splurge like that. I don't see the point of tipping a high end girl unless she actually did something beyond what's expected out of the session.

High end girls are making a lot more than most guys make. They aren't waitresses making minimum wage who work off tips.

I generally don't tip too much beyond her center of gravity cuz I fear she may tip over and capsize. :D

In real life,  on occasions when a girl goes above and beyond,  I might tip a bit if I really really enjoyed her and she treats me exceptionally well both during and outside the session. I think I prefer seeing another girl instead of giving away free money.  lol

Think about it, unless you're rich 15%-25% of a 500/hr - 2000/hr session is no small change for most people.

and tips , for what a good blowjob ... don't start and you wont get calls for cash when her rent is late .

so I don't tip independent ladies but will tip agency girls.  An independent has freedom to set her rate wherever she wants, whereas an agency lady does not, and also has to share her fee with the agency.  But then again, I'm a jackass, so you might not want to adopt my practices.

You either tip or you don't tip!
Agency or not!

Are you telling me that if you walk in to a restaurant and the owner waits on you that you get this feeling of, haha I can order more because I don't have to tip?

The lady who does my facials is the owner, I tip her.

Agency girls can also choose to not work for an agency if they don't like their pay scale.
Agency girls also have a lot less overhead to pay for.

You either do or you don't.

Why is this question asked over and over and over and overrrrrrrrrrrr
It comes with newbies because they see it somewhere and wonder if they are supposed to tip or not. Can't blame them for wanting to know.

Other times the question is prompted by someone (not necessarily a provider) acting as if the tip is required which leads the questioner to wonder about tipping providers when they read a review or a comment that a monger left a tip.

What are your thoughts on tipping a provider?

People tip servers in restaurants because it is generally understood that they earn very low wages and are dependent on tips to earn a living.  The restaurant owner keeps all the profits his restaurant generates.  If he's to cheap to hire a waitstaff so as to increase his profits further, I'm certainly not going to tip him on top of that.

Its not always understood that they make low wages. Some states make minimum wage. It depends if state has trip credit or not. So, if someone is making minimum wage do you tip less? Do you only tip a certain percentage if you had a $2.99 breakfast at Denny's and ordered unlimited coffee refils?
I didn't mean if an owner didn't want to hire employees. What if someone calls out sick? Or leaves work early? The owner steps in to make sure you are taken care of in a timely manner.
My point is, you're either a tipper or you're not.
Way more serious things in life to be concerned with then if you are tipping a proper amount.

Nothing is supposed to be "dumb" here. If you want to flame someone for their opinion. please go back to the GD board where that type of behavior is not only tolerated, but commonplace.

Even "I" am nice here. You can disagree without calling names. Please play nice while you are here,

If you would read my post after the original reply I said I didn't realize I was on the newbie board.

I have done pretty well at ignoring you, but it seems like you aren't giving up. When you try to make me look like a bad person I will have my say. Not sure why you feel the need to reply to my posts after calling me "bat sh!t crazy," but so be it.

This is the only board where they can do that and not get bitched at for asking things that have been asked a thousand times. This is the only board that allows the same topic to be discussed when there are active threads on the topic on the same page. This is the newbie board. It is what it is. Not all newbies have figured out how to search, or to read back before asking. We still help them without bitching. However, some of us gently direct them to read back and to use the search feature.

ok guys and gals!  your responses have been very helpful!

right now, I'm gonna work it based on a case by case situation.  leaning toward not tipping unless extraordinary experience.

in my business, if we do a good job, people pay their bills, and are happy.  we were supposed to do a good job.  we don't expect anything more than our going rate.  over the years of being in bus, I have developed special relationships w special clients... these people might offer us something in return...not necessarily money, but maybe fishing privileges, x-mas gifts, etc.  but not tips

I never expect a tip.

That said, it is always nice to have confirmation that you had a marvelous time - be it a small tip, a review, a card or gift, most confirming of all is a return visit!  That said, if I went above and beyond... extended the time because the client was late, accommodated special requests (specific bottle of wine or whiskey on hand), provided exceptional food for an in-studio meal date, etc... well, I do admit that it is nice to have a little financial recognition of those extras.
;

One thing that is stupid..  when someone calls someone stupid then offers there advice on using the same scenario of a restaurant.  Yes it was bad but it did make sense if you read what she was trying to say.  So please be nice to the providers.  With out them then we really have nothing to talk about on this website.  Always remember one thing.  Be careful of the feet you step on today because they may be connected to the ass you kiss tomorrow.

If you go to her house...I"d just do why tradition says with a Barber...the man that owns the place cuts your hair..you insult the man tipping him (or only tip 10%)---ain't supposed to tip the owner....considered rude.

if he doesn't own the place, yeah I"d give her 15% if she was nice to ya.

One thing I would never suggest is going even a dollar under her rate.

If she charges $475/hour, she means $480. If you go to the bank and get exactly $475… well, you get my drift. Anyone who has included $5 bills have never returned as clients, so I assume that they won't.

My suggestion - if you want to tip, go ahead. It's always appreciated, especially when it's cash or something on the 'gifts' page on  our websites. But any gift never goes toward the balance due. It's extra.

OTOH, my favorite kind of client isn't necessarily the tipper or gift giver, (though I do enjoy many wonderful gifts guys have given me,) I very much appreciate when they come back for more. (Especially if it's within the next 12 hours! lol)

Most of the lower volume providers really appreciate returning clients.
