I don't really waste time on Eros anymore.
I just look at ads here and on P411.
So I'm new to this and not sure about anything and don't want to do something stupid. In being new, I only looked at "verified" ads on eros but I'm not sure what it actually takes to be "verified". Does anyone know?
Are verified really verified or just paid off? I'm very apprehensive about everything, from thinking incall will be filmed to blackmail/extort, to outcall will come back to rob me and just trying to figure out the "safest" newbie experience.
First let me say you are Smart for doing research and being cautious ! Everyone starts somewhere, and you are starting with your Smart head , so good job 
Verified is usually when the girl takes a picture of herself holding a sign with the current date on it, and with her id or stage name, etc - so that the site admin can see it is really her .
Then the girls ad will be labeled 'verified' so lookers know the girl they see is the girl they will get - so as to avoid bait and switch
I highly recommend you also check to see if the girl you are interested in is reviewed here on TER with more than a few reviews.
Being new, you don't want to 'toft' ( take one for the team) you want to be sure your First experience is a good Safe one !
You may also want to consider a verification site like Preferred411.

Thanks. Good info. The lady I was interested in doesn't have reviews but is verified. That is what caused my hesitation. She's incredibly beautiful and I figure I might as well shoot for the stars if I'm going to take the first step.

...well-reviewed TER providers. TER is much more reliable than Eros verified. You might wind up with a pig in a poke and you wouldn't want to poke a pig, would you?

Can/Is this site a verification site or is P411 the best one to use? I'm very paranoid about giving too much personal info to some nefarious people and so what is the best way to protect myself while navigating uncharted waters?
Is it best to go with an agency first? I'm trying to figure out how to prove that I'm a kind hearted gentleman without exposing myself to too much risk.
I honestly just want to spend an hour in the company of a beautiful woman coming out of a 15 year marriage and don't want to "toft", walk into a setup, identity theft, sting or some other random shake down that I worry could happen.

I have been in the hobby for about a year. I started with gold club atlanta. The screening was easy and it was a good experience. I have used them several times. They have some beautiful ladies who will treat you well.
I was nothing but pleased with Gold Club. I actually think I may have been too pleased and have a much greater understanding of the term "hobbby" now.

I have used Gold Club several times. Their ladies will take good care of you. If you want a crazy good time then I would suggest you see Rebekka at Exotic Flavors that lady does the best GFE I have ever had and I have seen about 40 ladies in the year that I have been in this hobby.

Your vouching for Gold Club did a lot to calm some of my nerves but was still exuding basket case but Brooke did an awesome job of calming and now I'm ready to call again tomorrow. i'm guessing that's kinda how this goes though. lol
Eros "authenticates" pictures; it does not verify anyone. Authentication implies that that the pictures are real; verification (as done by P411 and Date-check, for example) implies that you won't get ripped off in other ways. These are two very different things.
Second, the Eros authentication process is less than perfect, and MANY hobbyists have been fooled by fake pictures that were supposed "authenticated." For examples, see:

The bottom line is that Eros is using the "authentication" label to make extra money from providers who want the label on their ad because they think that hobbyists will believe that it means something. And I'm sure that it is working to some degree. But in reality you're better off relying on the reviews for information. No, they're not perfect, but they are a better indicator than what Eros is selling.

and the second link that you have in your post it EXACTLY what made me ask. I first was curious a little under a couple of years ago and I saw those exact same pictures in Miami when looking and remembered them because they were striking to me. I saw them popup in ATL in the past week or so since I decided to look into the idea again and it made me question what I should believe and not believe.
mean many things. For example, she might accept an appointment with you for an hour of her time at 5pm for $250 when you call this morning. Some other guy calls her at 2pm and says how about a dinner date at 5pm for 4 hours? She quotes him $900 and he accepts. Do you think she would have a problem dishing you and your 1hr. encounter for the 4hr. dinner date?
If she had reviews, you would know she is reliable, based on what is said in the reviews.

In any case, what I posted before is the second link that you provided I saw the first time I became curious in MIA and then saw the same pics in an ad almost 2 years later and it made me question what I can believe and what I should question.
...meaning they have to be approved by TER board admin before they go up. It's normal and everyone went through it. The time it takes ranges from minutes to hours. Be patient. After a month or so of posting you can contact board admin (use contact us link) and request to be unmoderated. If you've posted following the rules thay will likely grant your request.
I'll take the time here to double down on the advice to only see providers that are well reviewed here on TER. (about 10 reviews majority by guys that have reviewed 10 or more) You should consider joining P411(Preferred 411). They will verify you so you don't have to give info to a lot of different ladies. P411 makes things easier for you. Check out the lady you're interested in here on TER and on P411.
yes, I actually tried to figure out a way to delete my follow up post (which was actually posted before the original) but couldn't find an option. I get that. My other posts showed up much quicker so I was testing if I'd done something wrong. Sorry. I honestly did try to delete to not be spammy.
It seems like the P411 verification is the most trusted/common method so I think maybe I should use that method. I just worry about giving out too much personal info to anybody that could be perceived as questionable.
I think I found someone that falls into the parameters of "safe", being from an agency on this site with a provider with reviews. That seems like the safest place to test the waters.

We let our reviews, P 411 and date check speak for themselves. I will not pay extra to prove that the photos are of me because that it would be a waste of my money. All anyone needs to do is read my reviews and do some research to know that I am who I say I am. In my opinion if they need to try to "prove" the photos are real and they don't have reviews then I would not see them. Reviews are the key!
