I sometimes go to Windsor and less frequently to Niagara Falls. I was perusing reviews from those cities and found most girls there are from an agency and they reference "for tax purposes". Is it legal in canada to be an escort? I tried search engine but had a tough time deciphering the legal codes referenced. Would rather make the three hr drive to windsor if i dont have to worry about LE, but again, the codes are very confusing so thought i would ask here. Thanks
I've never once had anyone check my laptop but there's been cases of guys who had their stuff searched for evidence of going into Canada for sex tourism. No clue why they would do this since it's legal in Canada but I'd wipe off evidence of TER before I go just so they don't put me on their radar and hassle me everytime I visit.
I'm sure they have their reasons, such as trying to reduce sex offenders or child molesters from overcrowding their cities. A stupid way to screen though.
And they have denied entry to those with incriminating info on computers & such. Once on such a list, unlikely to be allowed in in the future. Also very strict on criminal records. As we know a simple delete is not enough as Forensic software easily recovers such. There are DOD (Dept Of Defense) standards for overwriting software after deletion. I use CC cleaner but it's slow.
It's no problem to retrieve data from the internet once safely across the border.
Interesting. Ive been to canada about 8-9 times, always for casino (illegal in my state), and never been searched or asked about a laptop. Either way, i would simply have the number of the agency with me, no laptop necessary
