to let her (or us) know the entrance layout in advance.  "In the front entrance, past the desk & elevators on your left"...  so helpful.  Do pay attention to card access or other quirks so there will be no surprises.  Any can be dealt with, but surprises are bad omen.  If a key card is required, you might have to meet her in the lobby, restaurant or bar.

Any refreshments should remain sealed until she arrives...  let her open them.  All women should be cautious about tampered drinks.
What is especially undesirable locations is motel types with doors that open to the outside...  too easy for LE to observe.   I doubt that your location will be a concern.

I apologize before hand for all my questions, but being a relative neophyte, and I still get rather anxious regarding this pastime. I am hoping to meet with a provider in a major city in two weeks time.

* How long is normal for a provider to respond to an request for an appointment?

I have read that providers often get a large volume of communications and may take a while to see and respond to inquiries. As I would not like to waste another provider's time, what would be a reasonable time frame to wait until approaching a different provider?

* Would a provider let you know if she does not wish to meet with you?

One of my constant concerns is that if a provider does not wish to meet with me, she would just not respond to my inquiry and I would just be waiting for a response. Is it a common practice for providers to respond when declining a client, or is it more common to just ignore the response?

* What would be considered acceptable as an Upscale Hotel?

As this trip is for business, I had to work within corporate policy when picking a hotel. Usually this easily gets me into the national chains (e.g. Hyatt, Hilton, etc.). For whatever reason on the dates of my travel the prices of the local hotels increased dramatically. I was forced to choose a boutique hotel. Would this be seen as unacceptable for providers who identify Upscale Hotel as outcall locations?

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration in this matter!

Best regards,

1-2 days should be plenty of time to not only hear back from your initial email but to possibly be screened as well as long as you provide all the needed info right away. This info can be found on her website and I suggest you provide it in the first email.

Some may let you know if you "qualify" especially if more info is needed for screening process but some will not respond at all to you at that point. So again 1-2 days.

The hotel may be fine ... Some things the providers may consider are: star rating, area its located, size (#of floors or rooms) multiple entrances. Do not give the name of the hotel but do give her basics such as those above in initial contact.

Good luck and hope you enjoy your trip!!

It is really hard to say, some of us have other obligations, family or other affairs to take care of. My reply time is typically quite fast (1-2 hours) unless I am either in school or meeting someone. I have an assistant so whether I am available by email or not, she can be reached right away. I would say give ladies 24 hours.

Would a provider let you know if she does not wish to meet with you?
Unfortunately you will find that some providers won't respond, I try to have the channels of communication open and give you a reason or try to ask you for all the screening info or additional should it be necessary but sometimes we are victims of aggression and verbal abuse if we decline for various reasons so, typically to avoid those confrontations, we just do not address the issues. (bad references, blacklists, age, character, inappropriate questions or language on emails etc). I am not saying this is your case but please keep this in mind.

My reasoning is, I will never go to a place where I will not hold incall. I have been to numerous boutique hotels here in Miami, but please let the lady know in advance whether the elevator is keyed or where the elevator is period, the only downside about those hotels is that the front desk can be relatively small and close to the elevator so you wouldn't want her to look lost.
Please have a water ready for the lady, I know it is a strange remark but it is a nice touch.
Good luck!
