A bunch of guys ask you to tour their city. You book a date, flight, put up ads, pay for hotel - on the week no one is available to see you.
One guy decides he'll book a one hour See where this is going? Lol. We get asked all the time. At this point, I tour where I know people IRL and offer an "on my radar" option, where if a location is on my radar, and someone wants to book, they can book a 6 hour prepaid date and I'll go to their city. But it has to be a place I want to travel, where I am going there to visit someone. Because if they end up being the only one to book, the whole trip is paid for, and I have friends to visit in the area. Otherwise you're just sitting there stressed and bored out of your wits. If they did have the option to do the thing you suggest, there should be a section... "Willing to pay a $200 deposit? Yes/no" I hate to sound negative, but it is very true. I got asked last year to take a trip to LA. The guy said he'd even book a 90 minute, no deposit though. Who else is going to book me in LA? No one. Ever. Lol. Also, you have to tour somewhere at least 3-4 times before it catches on. Usually the first couple of tours flop. If I want to travel a new area, I need people in that area who regularly book extended dates. Otherwise it's just not worth it. Very expensive and you don't net much. Why not fly the girl out to you and book a date long enough to pay for a full tour?Could we have a way to request providers to come on tours to cities?
I suspect many providers do not tour some cities since they worry about not having much demand. But if there is enough requests from a particular city they might acquiesce.
So if had a way to say - provider x- requested for city y ->> and +1s from hobbyists - this might help providers decide their next tour route..
