... when she found out. Like she thought I was really using my real first name at least. Anyway, she has been good about trying to reassure me that she won't use my identity against me. I'm a bit of a "nervous Nelly" so I'm still thinking about the risk...
...it's no big deal to me. Two or three may know my last name from way back when I started. (screening you know) There are a few I've known so long they might know my full name if they think about it.
The answer to your question is No, I don't freak when she learns my real name.
but I will say that so far at least I have never had a provider even attempt to do anything. The only problem I have ever had are from two other TER members who thought they could cause me harm by outing me.
That said, I am still a proponent of most guys not giving out more personal info than they feel comfortable with because it only takes one to ruin your life, but so far at least I have had no problems with women here knowing my real name.
End up knowing my last name, for obvious reasons like paying for the tab and my credit card is sitting right there. Or the waitress calls me by Mr. So and so. Etc. I usually go by cash but sometimes I stop caring too much about remaining private when the girl is cool.
Also, if I traveled with the girl we obviously know each others real name. I am prolly one of the more paranoid ones about sharing too much of my personal info but at some point I gotta just trust the girl.
It also becomes pointless and rude of me to remain first name only especially when the girl revealed everything about her self including her real name, ssn, date of birth, drivers license, family photos, childhood photos, etc... even mothers maiden name. LO
my full name. With P411 I don't need to in order to see beautiful ladies. So, yeah, I'd probably freak a little, because it's out of my comfort level. In most cases there isn't opportunity for her to see my name accidentally, although there have been a couple exceptions to this due to particular circumstanses (though truth be told, it would have had to been intentional rather than an accident).
