how has the Hobby changed your approach to the session. Are you more aggressive/assertive now that you have been in the game for a while or more inclined to let her take over? or no difference?
... but that can vary from lady to lady. Some ladies know what needs to be done and provide a good session.
Some ladies need a bit of "encouragement" to get things going.
However, I have found that if a lady is too much of a talker... I just lay down and let my member stand erect and say, "He needs someone to talk to" and onwards to a BBBJ. always works for me.

I'd say I am much more confident and aware... My first few sessions were kind of a blur... but they have always had a degree of give and take as we share some intimate time together... more as two equals learning, exploring, and pleasuring each other.

I know you didn't ask but just throwing my two cents in. As a provider, I appreciate a gentleman who is open about what he likes or desires that evening. If the gentleman wants to be in control, it helps if he tells me since I will otherwise tend to take control. My desire is to make it a great experience, no matter what, for my client….so, I would simply say, don't expect me to read your mind, please.
