Hi  Doorman hotels mean that someone  most likely will stop and check out  visitors  ie:  Hi sir what room are you going to?  ah 123  Ok sir  what is the guest first and last name? ahhh  sorry sir  I can't lket you up :-)  Midtown hotels are usually the best but if you can affford it try The Plaza, Helmsley Waldorf-Astoria  only a few hundred a night :-D  other  are around 100  average  Good Luck  don't miss 6th Ave  for shopping or canal Street

I am going to be in Manhattan on the 31st of January through the 6th of February. This is my first visit to your city and I am very excited! I am in need of some advice though. I would like to find a centrally located hotel that is discreet and very clean. I like to get a nice room when I travel. I am traveling with another girl and she was told that you should not stay in hotels with a doorman. Is this the case? Are there certain hotels to avoid and are there certain hotels that are the best. Any help is appreciated.
     Anyone interested in checking me out go to my website and you will find all of the information you would need. I will be available from 5am-11pm every day I am there. If you are looking for any other hours let me know in advance and I will try to accomodate. saw your post, suggest you try the site (see link below) there are some very good deals avail through this site, rooms in very decent hotels starting at $139.00-- way cheap.
