First reviewer sets the age. 36-40 + nine years of reviews = 45 to 49 today. A lot of guys won't even bother to investigate further.

However some of us gals do update our profiles, so you can't assume that everyones' is inaccurate. I will agree that most have inaccurate or incomplete profiles, especially the ones who never use TER.

I don't mind if all my reviews are visible. I think most people have the intelligence to know that things can change over time and that the more recent ones are really what matters. I think the older reviews just help guys get a feel of a gal's history in her interactions and shows that she never ripped anyone off etc.

If I was a guy, I'd rather see that for the last 10 years she was consistent and nice vs the first few years being BSC or a ripoff but now suddenly got her act together.

(Speaking in general, not at OP).

That if we post our age at 40-45 and we've been doing this for ten years than we are really 50-55.

We can easily update our profiles whenever we change any information whether we have a birthday or increase our rates or decide to offer some new service or whatever.

...1.2 million reviews in their database.  Why would they want to reduce that number?  It would be contrary to their business interests.

In addition, some of the "low volume" girls may only have 10 total reviews or so even though they have been in the biz, and on TER, for a decade or longer.

Wipping out all reviews over 3 years old, or 5 for that matter, may only leave a handful of reviews and thus possibly hurt the gals business as well.

Lastly, I like to look at trends with reviews. If the reviews from years ago were not that good and the more recent ones are better, I like to know why.

Did she lose weight? Change her hair color? Change her outlook on how she approaches her dates, her menu, her customer service, etc etc etc

Some girls do make dramatic changes for the better, and sometimes the worse, and removing a girls reviews from the past can give a less complete picture of her, imo.

They can still use that even if reviews are pulled, as they were once published. For every one pulled, another new one will pop up... possibly 10 new ones. I agree that after five years, the old ones should drop off. It's annoying if you started out as say an FBSM or Agency gal with a ton of 7s, to have to keep reviews of services you no longer offer. If performance of the last 3 years is nothing but 9s and 10s for GFE, that is what should count. It's consistency.

Make reviews searchable by a range of dates. I for one don't need to see 10 years of reviews; the last 2 or 3 years is fine. Maybe make that, or perhaps the most recent 50 reviews the default if a raange of dates is not specified. If someone wants to see more, they can. Enable choice

Doesn't that let you look just at the last 2-3 years easily enough?

But I also search by rating. Would be nice to see a current rating versus a cumulative one - or see the cumulative one if I chose. IMO, the value of the database is to be able to query it for relevant information... whether that is info I consider relevant or info you consider relevant. Or conversely, the ability to screen out information we might find extraneous.

... instead of deleting the reviews after it reaches a certain time frame, why not archive those reviews?

Let's say that I go to your profile of SindeeNYC, there will be a separate link for reviews that are older than a certain date (1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or whatever is decided on). Basically, the only reviews that are immediately available are the newer ones that are on the current page.

Also, to add it bit of incentive, the archived reviews can only be seen by VIPs only.

Just my 3 cents...

Please have an expiration date on reviews. After 3 years please. Drop them off the back end of the peivider' review list. (5 years at least??)

I've seen a lot of other ladies that could say the same thing. The first few years of reviews are not that great while we don't know our way around the bedroom and we haven't learned to maximize our assets...

But I think it's probably best to have the whole story available.

I could go either way on this one but I think I like having all of the reviews there.

.....any old reviews with erroneous information would be overlooked.  From chatting with my own clients, I don't think that a high percentage of review-readers look past the first page or even second.

It might be nice if some of my old reviews "dropped off" just because some of them detail activities I no longer offer.  And a very few people DO read all of my reviews and think that since I USED to do such-and-such, there's the possibility that I still will.  This can devolve into me playing a game of "keep away" which is not so fun for me lol.

Reviews staying up forever is not a problem for me really, though.  But I do get that keeping only the current, relevant ones (with accurate info) would be important to those who've maybe had drastic changes, modifications or improvements to either their service or physical appearance.
