How would you prevent false reports?

Several providers have the problem of fake reviews. How would you stop anyone from (guy or jealous provider) making a false NCNS report? How would a provider refute it, if false? They have enough problems getting fake reviews taken down.

I would like to see the addition to providers reviews of "no call / no show"

I have been burned quite a bit in the past and as i stated in my post in the general discussion board, I think that if i can see that a provider has burned other people, than i will avoid her.

I realize the flaw of this is that it is very easy for providers to bash rivals, or ex-boyfriends or what ever.

my suggestion is that a No call No show mark is only shown to everyone after 2-3 reputable members (with 4 or more reviews under their belt) of TER  have verified it. maybe even limit the # of NCNS, a reviewer can post within a certain time or something
I am sure if i am getting blown off by one girl, others are also.

Some guidelines:
1) Have it as a total number of NCNS listed next to the total number of reviews on the provider's profile page.
2) Only reviewers with at least a 5 or 10 review history are allowed to report on the NCNS.
3) The names of the reviewers who are reporting a NCNS should show up on the NCNS list of a provider's profile page.

I have had the experience of very well reviewed providers giving me the NCNS, so I can see a possible need for it.  Not really sure if there really exists any way to make some kind of reporting system of NCNS fair to the providers though, in that this kind of stuff can be abused rather quickly.

Like some others have mentioned before, you can always report NCNS on your local board, but expect a backlash to slap you back down if you mention the offending provider by name.

this would mean admin would have to change the review rules.  Currently, if you didn't see the provider, you can't write a review.  They would have to allow reviews where there was no actual visit between client and provider.  Not sure I see this happening.

A quality provider should be doing a confirmation  24 of the appt.  I always do with my gentelmen, as a NSNC can go both ways... Just Sayen.. OXO
