I feel like an idiot.........

I saw an ad from a provider listing her as a very pretty exotic European provider, so I called up and scheduled an appointment. On beknown to me, she was actually one of my regular's using a different alias and different phone #. She knew it was me all the time. She gave me broad directions to her location and asked me to call when I got close. I called again and she gave me final directions to her apt building and that's when I realized I had been had......she was standing there waiting me. I looked and felt like a idiot and tried to downplay the whole thing. We talked for a bit and I teased her about her ad. Session was nice and I told her I'd she her again soon.

Has this happened to anyone else and how would you have handled it?

Not quite sure why you feel like an idiot.  Is it that you feel like you "cheated" on her with, her?  Think of it as a little role playing with her.

It not as though she's a girlfriend. Remember she's a provider and the only thing is you felt akward but I bet you ended up laughing about it with her.

Why would you feel like an idiot? Only way I could think of would be if you canceled with her to book with this "exotic European" and were outed this way. If any one should be embarassed I would think it to be her for marketing herself diferently from what you must perceive her as or know her to be.

That brings up what bugs me the most, providers using several different names on all the boards.

Stick to one name and stop the games.

I am not alone using an alais to post at times and we do have our reasons.

I also post under user name here but change my style.  

Does it bother you?

I am not in any way looking for a flame here, just wonder if it bothers you because many providers use alaises too.

In fact if it is not right for the hobbyist to use an alais then I should say it would not be right for the provider to use one either.

I personally see nothing wrong with it.

I'm not bobb3950, but I liked his post...didn't read anything in it that indicated he was bothered, or thought you or providers shouldn't be allowed to use aliases.

I just thought he was pointing out the irony of someone posting about what "bugs them the most being providers with different names on the boards" whilst posting under an alias....come on...you gotta see the irony in that...

If not then you may be one of the many irony impaired...a sad affliction that renders the sufferer unable to enjoy the finer incongruities of life, but there is hope, doctors and researchers are working on new treatments all the time.  :)

i was unable to get back and reply, but yes, WT, that's what I was thinking.

It was ironic that the one who complained about providers using different names and "quit the games" was posting under an alias.

Personally, I really couldn't care less.

I just don't put up with people who think "do as I say, not as I do" very well.
