I just hate it when I go back later to re-read my posts and notice typos or grammatical errors that I didn't catch prior to hitting "Post Message", but it's too late to do any editing.

On sites that have a post preview, I do use it to triple-check what I've written and I really like that.
I still make mistakes but I really AM human, and not some new provider Fem-Bot.  LOL!

How about adding a button to the posting page so you can see how a potential post will be formatted, before you actually have it submitted?
That way if you're trying to quote someone you'll be able to verify the format will work, and not have to edit or even pull down the post if it's really screwed up.

I'm looking to capture the formatting when you quote someone else, such as when it pops up as an embedded box in the post.  Using Word was just like using Notepad in that they both capture the text but do nothing about showing the HTML box.

Any other ideas?  I mean, besides adding a preview option as other forum sites have done.  I'm willing to try other programs, although it's been over 10 years since I had to code anything so would prefer not to deal with an HTML editing program.
