I'm moving to Staten Island in a few months and I noticed a serious scarcity of providers there.  It was almost enough to make me want to stop looking for houses!  Anyway, I did a search for Staten Island on this board, and I got this explanation from Tonyrocc:  "Its a tough place because LE keeps a close watch their. There was some Russian Massage places but they closed them very quickly."  

Since I'm going to be new to the area, is there something that I should know?  Why do the cops keep such a close watch out there?  And if anyone knows about any providers on S. I. can you please let me know?  Thanks, and Happy New Year.
