Porn Stars

Just speculating here, but perhaps they want to lower expectations as a provider. If you expect to see a porn star, you expect a wild ride, and maybe an anything goes experience. Maybe these ladies don't want those expectations.
Could also be that they just don't want the attention to it -remember being a porn star is legal (sex in front of film lights etc), escorting is not.
One more thought --maybe they walked away from that experience with some bad memories or had one too many nasty experiences.
But I could be totally off on this -since I've never been a porn star (just a porn star experience (lol).

Just curious because I have noticed this phenomenon a couple of times recently.
My personal thought is that it would be good for business, but sometimes business is TOO good, I guess.  Also I'm thinking there may be legal or family reasons a SP can't admit to a previous life as a Pornstar.
Anybody else have thoughts on this?

being a provider is not.  And boasting of a porn past gives them reason to boost their prices.  Is it that they're ashamed of what they did on camera, even when it's no different from what they're doing now as a provider?
I talked about Lena denying she was Shawnee Cates; someone else said Nikki Brandtz, who works in a strip club in the valley in L.A., denys she did porn too.

...that as a provider, she is working in a hidden away world as opposed to being a Porn Star which obviously is more visible to the general public.  Would it be better for business?  Probably, but some people may not want their business known regardless of how much more money they could be making.

In my experience having the family find out that they're providing, and were or are doing films was a huge issue.

A lot of people know her from her porn name both personally and professionally.  If she is retired and not a high ticket item she doesn't want past friends and associates hearing she's doing $300 tricks.  In her mind she has moved on with her life.

If she is a working porn star, many are young and hot and demand $800 and up for a  scene.  When people in the biz hear she's doing tricks for $300 thru the internet, it can hurt some girls rep--and finances--especially if they are with a bigger company like vivid or sin city.  It seems some of the cute black girls signed to bigger companies have had this problem.  It's harder for them to keep busy with discreet high ticket tricks like the blonds.
